Breaking free from worry.
First recognize how you feel right now.
Notice that regardless of how you feel and how you are,
This is normal.
Every experience has already happened and it is a part of your human experience.
It comes from the source of being human,
Engaging with your humanity.
And when you think those thoughts,
You might notice that it doesn't feel pleasant.
It doesn't feel great.
And before you engage further with the thought process,
I want to ask you to connect with those thoughts on the level of physical sensations.
How does it feel to worry on the level of your body?
Perhaps it manifests as a tension in your stomach,
Tightness in your chest,
Clenching of your jaw,
Or any other way.
Instead of following the train of thoughts,
Shift your awareness towards bodily sensations and see that any bodily sensation is normal,
Is welcomed,
Is valid.
It is nothing wrong with you when you feel tension in your stomach or when you clench your jaw.
It is natural,
Normal response.
Be with yourself.
Be with your sensations for just a moment as they are without trying to change them,
Without trying to think about them or describe them,
But simply feel them to the best of your ability.
And as you sense the bodily sensations,
See if you can soften them by simply placing attention where the sensation in your body occurs.
And after that,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth as if you are washing down all those tensions,
All this constriction in your body,
Away from your body through the bottom of your feet.
Use your breath as a way of releasing not the thoughts but the tension in your body.
Use as many breaths as you like.
And now,
Once again,
Tune in to your body and see the difference.
The sensation will still be there.
Maybe you can feel a qualitative difference between before and after the breathing.
Now,
Turn once again to your thoughts and allow them to be present in your awareness as they are and pay close attention,
Seeking for the gaps between one thought and another,
Being present and curious to what is happening,
Knowing that you are safe and secure in this moment.
You feel supported and whatever the thoughts are,
Let them come,
Invite them into your awareness without resistance.
Recognize that you are not the author of those thoughts.
They simply come from the collective consciousness that you are a part of.
You are simply on the receiving side of it.
You did not create them.
And with this understanding,
Be even more mindful of the gaps in between the thought process,
Empowering yourself to face any thoughts,
Any thought patterns,
Seeing that they are not you and you are not the thoughts.
You are the experiencer here,
Not the creator.
And now conclude this short process by expressing your gratitude for the effort that you made,
For the courage that you have shown by facing your worries with an open heart,
With all your humanity,
With who you are and take forward this knowledge,
This understanding and this experience to empower you next time you connect with the worried mind,
Knowing that you are much better prepared to face these worries and challenges of your daily life.
Now,
To close this process,
Simply take one deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and when ready,
Open your eyes and welcome back.
