I like An interesting day today,
So we prepared for some interesting and useful information that may assist in being mindful and training one's attention to not wander off to all those places that the mind tends to wander off into,
Depending on all the situations that create what I believe to be illusionary ideas about one's experience,
Because they are far removed from what is going on in the present moment,
Illusionary ideas in the sense that they're much more a reflection of thinking than a reflection of reality,
And how to use one's attention to come back to that which is most important,
That is life,
Living life right now in this moment,
Totally embracing the situation from not a thinking perspective or a feeling perspective or a belief system or dogmatic perspective,
But from just being.
And of course,
You may have heard this before or read about it,
How to come back to this moment and let go of those moods and emotions and those happy,
Unhappy,
Dualistic perspectives of life,
The process,
Whatever you wish to call it,
And how to come back to something that is much more connected to what is going on.
We don't know what is going on if the mind is so very busy with all these interesting aspects that create a perspective or personality or sense of self that is excited or unhappy depending on whatever is going on in the thinking process.
So this information is not really information,
It's wisdom.
And even though you may have read a lot about how to come back to the moment,
How to be present to yourself,
How to be alive in this moment,
Doesn't really matter because whatever you read is just,
If understood through a mind that is caught in its own perspective,
Is filtering the information so that the essence of that experience becomes another thought,
Then it's the same as someone speaking about music and trying to explain to you the beauty and the complexity and the simplicity all at the same time of,
Say,
A musical orchestra that is playing Mozart,
Trying to explain,
Can you hear this sound and can you connect to that sound?
And you have no idea because you actually can't hear that you're deaf.
And so the music that the person is explaining doesn't make sense.
Well,
Of course it makes sense because even if you're deaf you can sense the vibrations,
But you can't hear what the person is speaking about because you can't,
The sense of hearing isn't there.
And so it is the same as the mind trying to.
