Hi,
I'm Tracy Stein and this is a meditation to help you welcome the new year with gratitude,
Grace and optimism.
So for the next several minutes,
You can settle in and enjoy this time that is just for you.
And you might want to begin by centering yourself in whatever way works for you.
Perhaps allowing your breathing,
Your gentle inhalation and exhalation to be the gateway to relaxation and inner awareness.
And as we welcome this new year and new decade,
This new era full of possibility,
Just allow your focus first to be on those things for which you are grateful.
No matter how big or how small,
Perhaps for something you learned or kindnesses you received.
Or maybe you realized that you are stronger and wiser than you ever knew.
Perhaps you made it through a difficulty or experienced a miracle.
So just notice these things that make life richer.
And remind yourself that you are here for a reason.
Wonderful.
And now from a place of ease and safety and comfort.
Notice those things you would like to release or perhaps just change in some way.
Old habits perhaps or patterns or hurts.
Just give yourself permission to view these things from a place of higher understanding.
Everything is for our learning.
So just breathe and feel that shift and release.
Again,
Just allow your breathing to facilitate that shift and release.
Good.
And now as you once again re-center,
You can allow to come to mind some of the ways in which you would like your life to shift in the coming days and weeks and months.
And this could be by doing more of some things or less of others.
Changing how you think of yourself and seeing new possibilities.
Seeing the things you've outgrown and paving a positive path forward.
Just imagine and visualize how you'd like your life to be.
And what each new day might be like as you shift and grow.
Embracing the you you are now and all you know you can be.
Taking each moment and each day one step at a time.
Embracing the possibility and magic and wonder that is you.
So just sit with these images for as long as you like.
And when you're ready,
You can once again bring your awareness to your breathing.
Everything is needed and return to your day,
A new year and a beautiful,
Wonderful you.
