Welcome to this guided meditation.

This meditation will guide you into reconnecting with your true self,

The calm,

Compassionate and courageous part of you that is always here.

And as you listen,

We'll be exploring the seven qualities of self,

Often called the seven C's.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Closing your eyes if you wish to do so,

And begin to settle into the moment.

Bringing your awareness to your breath,

Taking a slow,

Gentle inhale and a soft exhale.

Feel the ground beneath you supporting you,

And imagine with every breath you are arriving more fully into this present moment.

Now,

Allow yourself to gently connect with the qualities of yourself.

Notice the steady rhythm of your breath.

Let calmness spread through your body,

Softening any tension.

Compassion.

Turn inward with kindness.

Hold space for every part of you,

Even the parts that may feel heavy,

Tired or unsure.

Offer every part of you compassion,

As if you were a dear friend.

Curiosity.

Allow yourself to approach your inner world with gentle curiosity.

What do you notice within you right now,

Without judgment?

Connection.

Feel the quiet thread of connection to your breath,

Your body and your heart.

Sense that you are also connected to life around you,

To others,

To something greater.

Confidence.

Bring to mind a time when you felt steady and capable.

Let that energy return to you now,

Reminding you of your strength.

Courage.

Feel the courage that lives within you,

The bravery to keep going,

To face challenges and to step into new beginnings.

Creativity.

Finally,

Sense the spark of creativity within,

The parts of you that can imagine,

That can dream and bring new possibilities into life.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Imagine all of these qualities,

The calm,

Compassion,

Curiosity,

Connection,

Confidence,

Courage and creativity,

Resting together in your heart.

This is yourself.

Always here.

Always whole.

And as you bring your awareness back to your body,

Notice how you feel.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

And thank you for taking this time to reconnect with who you really are.

And remember,

You carry these qualities of self with you into every day.
