Hello,
Lovely soul.
Thank you so much for being here,
And welcome to your self-love affirmation meditation.
My name is Victoria,
And I will be guiding you through this practice today.
So let's take some time to find a comfortable position,
Whether that is seated or lying down.
Take time to move your body,
Adjust,
Shift,
Moving in any way that will help you settle into stillness.
And as you start to find your comfortable meditation position,
Let's welcome ourselves into this space with three deep cleansing breaths.
Breathing in through the nose,
And exhale,
Sighing out the mouth.
Do that two more times.
And one last breath here.
And if the eyes are open,
Allow them to flutter shut or the gaze to soften down towards the earth.
And start to connect to your natural breath.
Just noticing the rise and fall of your belly and chest.
If you'd like to place one hand on your heart,
One hand on your belly,
To really connect to the sensation of your natural breath.
If your hand is on your chest,
Maybe noticing your heartbeat.
And then allowing the hands to relax down in your lap or on your thighs or anywhere else.
Where they feel completely able to surrender.
And start to deepen your breath,
Sending it down into your belly,
Allowing your belly to expand like a balloon.
Slowing the breath down,
Maybe even adding a gentle pause at the top of your inhale.
And a gentle pause at the bottom of your exhale.
And as you slow down your breath,
Notice if it is helping to slow down your mind.
Taking some time to observe what thoughts may be there.
And allowing your mind to show up and exist exactly as it is.
Not labeling anything good or bad.
And now start to bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
Where your heart is.
And notice what feelings might be there.
And again,
Not labeling anything good or bad,
Just allowing your heart to show up and exist exactly as it is in this moment.
Maybe you would like to gently rest one hand on your heart.
And start to breathe into this energy center.
Really feel the expansion in your chest as you inhale.
And the softening surrounding your chest.
Render as you exhale.
And an invitation to repeat the following love affirmations to help you cultivate a sense of love for yourself and a sense of love for your surroundings.
And you can either repeat these affirmations in your mind or out loud.
I am grateful for the beautiful loving world around me.
I love myself more and more every day.
I have all the love I need.
I have all the love I need within.
My heart is open to receiving love.
I love who I was in the past,
Who I am today,
And who I am becoming.
I send love to people I have had challenging relationships with.
I send love to the parts of myself that I have had struggles to accept.
I love every piece of myself inside and out.
I radiate love.
And take a moment to allow those affirmations to soak in.
And keeping your awareness here at the center of your chest.
And sealing this practice with one last deep cleansing breath here together.
Gently place one hand on your heart and the other hand on top.
Take a nice full breath in through your nose.
And open mouth exhale,
Sigh it out.
Gently bowing your head towards your heart as a way to thank yourself for taking time to nourish your mind and your heart today.
