If you've been feeling stuck, if there's an area of your life that doesn't seem to be healing no matter how much you try, if you've been unable to reach the next level of your spiritual growth then here's the key: learn to love yourself exactly as you are now, knowing that all you need is already within you. With this meditation you will embody self-love and self-acceptance which will allow your inner potential to emerge joyously.

Hello,

This is Victoria Loveland Cohen and this is the guided meditation for self-love.

So let's begin by taking some slow deep breaths.

Close your eyes and begin to feel your breath moving through your body,

Relaxing every muscle from the top of your head,

Down through your face,

Your jaw,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Feeling it all relaxing.

Breathe and continue to breathe and feel that warm wave of relaxation as it moves down through your back,

Down your arms,

Feeling this breath as a warm wave of relaxation flowing down through your chest,

Relaxing your tummy,

Relaxing all the organs there.

Feeling this warm wave now moving down your lower back and into your hips and feel this gentle wave flowing down,

Relaxing every muscle of your legs and finally into your feet.

Now allow your breath to bring your awareness into your heart center.

Your heart center is the the place where your inner wisdom dwells.

It is the center of limitless love within you.

Allow this love that resides in your heart center to begin to grow and expand.

Feel this love now emanating out,

Filling your entire body.

With each breath feel that love radiating down through your core,

Deepening in intensity as it grows.

Allow yourself to feel that abundant love growing and glowing within you for a few breaths.

Now imagine a loving divine presence standing directly behind you,

Radiating its peace and unconditional love.

This presence could be any heavenly being with whom you resonate.

Perhaps it's Jesus,

It's Buddha,

Krishna.

If there's a guru you relate to,

Imagine your guru standing behind you.

This presence could also take the form of a goddess,

An angel,

Or an earth spirit.

Or if you prefer,

It could just be loving positive light energy.

Now feel yourself either immersed in this positive light energy that this presence is emanating,

Or imagine this divine presence embracing you,

Pouring its limitless love into your heart.

Feel that love infusing every area of your entire being.

Imagine that love permeating the totality of you,

Even in the darkest corners.

Sincerely open your mind and your heart to allow this healing love to penetrate through all the layers.

If thoughts come up in your mind that say,

Oh but I won't let you see that because it's too awful,

It's too unlovable,

I've done things for which I'm ashamed.

If those thoughts come in,

Then imagine that divine presence loving you even more.

Every part of you,

And in particular those areas.

Anything that you have considered to be a flaw is in truth a place that is calling out for your love and acceptance.

You no longer want to hide any part of you.

You can now let self-criticism go,

And in so doing,

Free up that energy for your glorious life.

Feel that divine presence merging with you,

Becoming one with you.

Breathe it in.

Feel that you are that divine presence now,

And as this divine presence you can see and love the entirety of your being.

Take some time now to breathe through this until you can feel the divine love that is emanating from your own heart and penetrating every corner of your mind,

Every part of your psyche,

Every inch of your body,

Every memory from your past.

Feel the cleansing light from that divine love within you completely dissolving all judgment,

All self-criticism.

All that is left is pure love,

Pure for yourself and the sweet honoring of your unique path.

Let that love sink in deeply in the silence for the next minute or two.

And now,

When you feel complete,

Take some deep cleansing breaths.

Begin to bring your awareness back into the room.

Begin to stretch your body.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes and come back fully into the here and now.
