Journey to Indra's Cave

Take several long,

Slow,

Deep breaths deep into your belly and start a rhythm that's comfortable for you as you adjust your posture.

Just allow your neck and back,

Your arms,

Any place in your body that you find tension,

Just let it go.

And then when you're ready,

Come with me on a journey to Indra's Cave.

So imagine that we're all at the base of the great holy mountain Kailash in the Himalayas,

One of the holiest and most imposing mountains on Earth.

We begin to make our way up the path led by Sherpas who have led so many up this holy mountain.

Just feel the icy wind on your face and feel the tingle of this vortex of spiritual energy that everyone who visits this place reports.

And up above you,

You see a tiny opening,

An opening to a cave.

As we make our way up to the opening of the cave,

We begin to look inside and we are beckoned to come inside a vast inner cavern lit by many,

Many candles.

But the most prominent feature we see is that the entire surface of the cave floor to ceiling is covered with an extraordinary net.

This net is no ordinary net.

At every knot of the net,

There is a shining reflective jewel.

You lean in and examine one of these jewels and you see to your amazement that each of the jewels reflects the light of every other jewel in the cave.

Now take a moment to drink in this holographic immerse that is a net made of jewels that is interconnected as one reflecting all the other nodes in the net.

We go further into the cave and we see that there is a monk meditating surrounded by candles and statuary and he beckons us to come forward,

Puts his hand on his heart and then gestures to all the jewels as if to say,

Notice that like the jewels that are interconnected,

Your heart is connected to every other heart.

Every other heart in our meditation circle,

Every other heart,

In fact every other heart of every sentient being on the planet.

Take a moment and drop in to this realization that your heart is actually a jewel in Indra's net reflecting all the other hearts of every being that walks the earth.

Drop in and feel that interconnection,

The fact that when you or anyone else experiences joy that sends a pulse rippling through the net.

When anyone experiences pain or love or insight,

There are ripples across the surface of this holographic light ocean of interconnection.

Breathe deep into your holographic heart and come back into the room but take with you this feeling that your heart is part of a jeweled net of all hearts and that we are truly interconnected as one.
