Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep by Mary Elizabeth Frye Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there,

I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diming glints on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift,

Uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there,

I did not die

I used this beautiful & touching reading of this poem last night while doing my annual Dia de los Muertos ceremony. Ironically, it made me cry, but it also brought a lift in my heart reminding me that those who have passed are always with us and the world, just on another plane and in a different form๐Ÿ’—. Thank you.

Beautiful. I've of my favorite poems. My Nana was my number one support. She taught me to love. She's been gone over a decade. Tears are flowing because I wish she was here with me so I could share with her about how my life is transforming.
