Welcome to this session.
This meditation is for moments when thinking feels heavy or exhausting.
So for the next few minutes you don't need to figure anything out.
You can let the body lead and allow the mind to rest in the background.
So begin by noticing the simple fact that your body is already here.
Breathing,
Balancing,
Existing without instruction.
You don't have to tell it how to do any of that.
So bring your attention gently into the body.
Now not to analyze it,
Just to feel it.
Notice the weight of the body,
Where gravity is pulling you downward.
Let the body sink slightly into whatever is supporting you.
And now notice the breath again.
The rise and the fall.
The subtle movement of the chest or the belly.
Now you're not controlling this.
The body is deciding when to breathe in and when to breathe out.
So let that be enough.
And if thoughts appear,
Planning or evaluating,
See if you can let them drift past without engagement.
Now you don't need to push them away.
You don't even need to answer them.
Now bring attention back to sensation.
Warmth,
Pressure,
And even contact.
Feel the feet,
Even if they're not touching the ground.
Feel the hands resting wherever they are.
The body knows how to hold itself.
It knows how to breathe.
It knows how to regulate far more than the mind gives it credit for.
So for these few minutes,
Let the body decide the pace.
Let it decide the rhythm.
And let it decide what relaxes and what stays alert.
Notice how effort begins to drop when you stop interfering.
And if emotion is present,
See if it can be felt as sensation rather than story.
Tightness,
Movement,
And energy.
No need to label it.
Rest as the one who notices the body doing what it does naturally.
Nothing to manage.
Nothing to force.
Just a quiet cooperation in what's already happening.
So take a few more breaths like this,
Letting the body lead and letting the mind follow.
And when you're ready,
Gently widen awareness again.
Feel the space around you,
A room,
And even the sounds.
And as you return to activity,
Remember that this is always available.
You can let the body decide more often than you think.
Good work today and namaste.
