Each of us carries emotional baggage around with us in our lives, some only a little, some a lot. If you are tired of being stuck in old patterns in your life, perhaps it is time to release some of this baggage so you can travel on your journey lighter, and focus on the present. Henry will guide you with visualizations and affirmations to help you release what no longer serves you from the past. This is a good one to add to your weekly practice. Contains some light spiritual references.

Transcript

Baggage.

We all have it.

Some of us have only a bit,

Like a carry-on and an over-the-shoulder bag.

And some of us have a train of luggage carts,

Overloaded and teetering as we navigate our way through the airport of life.

We learn not to leave our baggage unattended,

So we are constantly taking an inventory of the bags and their contents.

Many of the bags contain memories that we would rather not revisit,

And buttons that can be pushed,

All of which shape how we interact with the world.

We can feel anxiety as we hold on to all the bags.

It is exhausting,

And it weighs us down.

We can't run with the bags to make the next flight on our journey,

And we can't fly with all the bags because it will cost us too much to bring them with us.

So,

We've become stuck at the airport,

Tending to our bags.

We can't go back to where we came from,

And we can't move forward to where we would like to go.

If we see a fly-now,

Pay-for-baggage-later deal,

It can cost us in ways we never imagined,

Like a strained relationship,

A job lost or a damaged career,

Opportunities missed,

And so on.

Our baggage not only contains our past,

But also the negative,

Dense energies of that past,

Old emotions and moods,

And old programs and scripts that we end up using in new situations.

It anchors us into the past and produces the same results to new situations.

It's kind of like we finally get onto that plane,

All excited about our destination,

But then we just end up landing at the same airport all over again.

It may look updated at this point,

But it is still the same old place that we know so well.

We find ourselves there,

Standing in the same spot,

Holding onto the same bags.

There is a way,

However,

To lighten our load.

It is a process that requires practice,

Repetition,

To be able to let go of our baggage.

It is a practice of repeating affirmations,

Statements,

That all aspects of our consciousness will hear to reinforce our desire and our intention to let go.

Dr.

Joe Dispenza and other great scientists have shared that when we imagine something or remember something or speak something,

Our brains and our consciousness are all paying attention.

Our brain can't tell the difference between reality,

A memory,

Or a fantasy.

When you use the statement,

I am,

Followed by anything,

Your mind is listening.

It will agree with whatever you say.

That is why self-deprecation is so bad,

And positive affirmations are so good,

Even if you don't yet believe them.

It will come.

The following affirmations I am going to share with you were inspired by the writings of author Amy B.

Scher and numerous others whom I have read over the years.

As you listen to these affirmations,

Feel as though you are seeing them with determination,

Conviction,

And intent.

Focus on your heart by feeling gratitude and joy for whom you are becoming.

So now let's choose a bag to focus on.

Look quickly through the tags and see what it says is inside.

You may notice a tag that says anxiety or sadness or fear.

Pick the first one that appears to you.

To do this,

You don't need to open the bag and explore its contents.

However,

Some memories may surface that contribute to the category indicated on the label.

So here we go.

Even though I feel this anxiety in my life,

Or even though I have this depression present in my life,

I recognize and acknowledge that it is no longer helping me or serving my growth in this life.

I wish to let the fullness of my being know that it is my clear and firm intention to let go of this baggage.

I give all of my consciousness,

My subconscious,

My superconscious permission and full authority to help me let it go and clear it from all cells in my physical body and from all levels of my auric energetic body,

Permanently and completely.

I am now free and able to show gratitude and thank it for having served me in the past.

I am now free and able to release any resistances any part of my entire being may feel through letting this go.

I am now free and able to release all conscious or unconscious ideas,

Feelings,

Attachments,

Or any reason that I need to hold on to this to feel safe.

I am now free to release any thought,

Feeling,

Emotion,

Idea,

Or suggestion that I don't deserve to release this.

I am now free and able to release any dense negative energies attached to memories related to this baggage.

I am now free and able to release any conscious and unconscious causes for this energy.

I am now free and able to release any intergenerational or past life energies that may be anchored to this in my life.

And I now release any harmful patterns,

Emotions,

Scripts,

Behaviors,

Programs,

And stress or trauma responses that came as a result of this.

My physical and auric bodies,

My entire essence,

My being is clearing this energy from every cell of my body,

My personal bio space,

My own energy field,

And I am healing.

You can repeat this to yourself.

I am healing.

I am clearing.

I am healing.

I am clearing.

I am healing.

I am clearing.

Now that we have deleted the old program from our system,

It is time to download and install a new one that serves you better for your highest and greatest good.

The new program is far more efficient,

Less complicated,

And focuses on what is important.

Listen now to these words and accept them.

Feel them as though you are saying them.

I am now installing the universal energy of love and compassion for myself exactly as I am and for all of creation.

I am installing the energy of moving beyond what I was and into what I am now.

I am installing the belief that I am able to feel so much better now.

I am installing the belief that I am enough.

I always have been and I always will be.

I am installing conscious awareness that if old situations come up,

I pause and breathe and now choose how to respond instead of reacting.

I am installing.

I am installing.

I am installing.

Every cell in my body has received the new program.

Every part of my entire being hears,

Feels,

And knows my firm intention.

I am enough.

I am love.

I am enough.

I am love.

I am growing.

I am evolving.

From who I was to who I am.

I am love.

I am enough.

So be it.

And so it is.

And so it is.

So if you were with me on the airport visualization,

Imagine now looking down at your discarded baggage.

You are near the baggage check for transmutation.

Grab those old bags and put them on the conveyor.

Let go of them.

Say goodbye,

Smiling.

Watch them go through the opening in the wall.

As they pass through,

There is a flash of golden light that slowly fades away.

Your old baggage and all of the contents have been transmuted into love.

You can say this with me.

I feel the warmth of love within me.

I feel lighter.

I feel peace.

I feel peace.

In the future,

If you find that you still have some baggage,

Listen to this meditation again.

Delete the baggage program.

Install the new one.

Sometimes it does take some time,

Some practice,

To fully let go.

Allow it that time.

There is no wrong way to do this,

And there is no timeline for this.

Be patient with yourself.

Be gentle with yourself.

You will get there.

You are a different person now.

Say it with me.

I am love.

I am enough.

I am growing.

I am evolving.

I am letting go of all that does not serve my highest and greatest good.

I am love.

Now that you have this feeling of love in your heart center,

And gratitude and peace,

Sit with it for a while and let that feeling fill your entire body.

Let it out in your own energy field.

Let that love flow out to all that is around you,

Into the universe.

Let it out.

Let it out.

Let it out.

Really good meditation Henry, I can relate to everything your saying!! Over the past couple of years I have worked tirelessly to release all emotional baggage, and it has worked. As a Buddhist, I believe the past has gone, the future doesn't exist ,we only have the now! It works for me and I am sure your words will help soo many.
