There can be many reasons for a headache,

And some require medical attention.

This meditation will focus on soothing relaxation,

Which often can bring relief.

With eyes closed and in a place where you can fully relax,

Either lying down or sitting in a supportive chair,

Take a deep breath in,

And breathe out slowly.

Slowing down the breath sends a signal to your body to relax,

So take another slow deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Allow your body to sink into the surface supporting you.

Begin to feel a sensation of peace and relaxation in your feet.

Take a moment to enjoy this feeling of relaxation as you continue to breathe normally.

Allow the peaceful relaxation to travel from your feet into your legs,

Into your knees and thighs,

Soothing and softening your legs,

Knees and thighs as they relax peacefully.

Let peace and relaxation move into your hips and pelvis as you feel this area soften,

Release and relax.

Feel your back,

Abdomen,

Stomach and chest settle into soothing relaxation.

Feel every aspect of your core fill with a deep sense of calm and soothing peace.

Now feel peaceful relaxation move into your shoulders,

Sinking deep into your shoulders.

Allow your shoulders to move down away from your ears.

Feel serene relaxation like golden honey travel from your shoulders down your arms to the elbows,

Forearms,

Wrists,

Hands and fingers.

Feel peaceful relaxation move into your neck.

Feel calm and relaxation move slowly up the back of your neck into your scalp as it spreads across and soothes your entire scalp.

Feel peace sink deep into your scalp.

Feel relaxation and peace move into your forehead and bring soothing relief to your forehead.

Feel peace move into and soothe your brow and temples.

Feel the muscles around your eyes and cheeks soften and relax.

Soften and relax your mouth,

Tongue and jaw.

The feeling of peace and relaxation embraces your head,

Calming and soothing the back of your head,

The sides of your head,

The front of your head.

Encouraging well-being in all aspects of your head.

Imagine now a gentle breeze blowing through your mind,

Dissolving any remaining pain as the bits just float up to the sky.

Repeat this image once or twice more.

The gentle breeze blows in and the bits float up to the sky.

A deep and peaceful relaxation permeates your entire body now,

From the top of your head all the way down to your toes.

Feel every aspect of your entire body softened and filled with the deepest sense of calm and peace.

Affirm this beautiful sense of complete relaxation and peace by internalizing these thoughts.

Well-being is present now in my head.

I completely accept and love myself.

I deserve and welcome relaxation and well-being.

I am at peace.

Now it's time to begin the process of returning to your day.

Welcome movement into your fingers and toes.

Touch your body and open your eyes.

May you move into the rest of your day feeling refreshed and renewed.
