Thank you for choosing this sound meditation.
This audio guides you through a practice of intoning healing sounds for the key energy centers of your body.
You can join in with the intoning of the sounds along with the audio,
Or you can simply listen to the track and be guided by your senses.
For reference,
The location of the energy centers are as follows.
The first energy center is located at the lowest part of your torso,
The perineum or the base of your spine.
The second center is located in the lower abdomen or an inch below the belly button.
The third center is located in the solar plexus in the upper abdomen just below the rib cage.
The fourth center is located in the body's heart center.
The fifth center is located in the throat.
The sixth center is located in the middle of the forehead.
And finally,
The seventh center is located at the top of the head.
If you choose to join in with the intoning,
Here are a few guidelines and suggestions.
Find a comfortable seated position for your practice and be gentle with your voice.
No force or strain is required to be placed on your vocal cords.
In this practice,
You can choose to intone any sound of your choice.
Common sounds that I used are vowel sounds such as R,
E,
E,
O,
OO,
I,
A.
Or you can choose to hum or intone OM.
You can choose any pitch that is comfortable for you.
And each energy center is intoned seven times and the audio will guide you to the next energy center.
The duration of the sound you make is up to you as everybody will have a different makeup.
So do not feel that you have to keep up with the audio.
The spacing of the toning is just a guideline.
Try to maintain the sound you make at the same pitch,

No variation of pitches for each out breath.
And obviously take a breath between making each sound.
With your breath practice breathing into your belly and allowing the belly to rise with your inhale.
Add an intention to your practice,
Whether that be presence with yourself,
Inviting more relaxation into your life,
Or perhaps letting go of things that are not serving you anymore.
The music will continue to play after you have worked through the different energy centers,
So the invitation there is to continue to sit in meditation.
To deepen your practice you can explore different sounds,
Perhaps using the same sound for each energy center,
Or trying different pitches.
You can explore different intentions for each practice and explore where you feel the sound in your body.
Just become aware of your awareness and notice what you notice in your practice.
