Thank you for joining me for this quick meditation.

This meditation is one that allows us to call our energy back.

This is a great meditation to do before you go to sleep or when you wake up.

It's also a great meditation if you're in the middle of a busy day and you're able to carve out a few moments of time.

I think it's so important that we're able to just pause at some point in our day,

Whether to reflect upon our day,

To set an intention for the day before us,

Or just to pause,

Allowing us to call that energy back.

Let us begin.

Taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your lungs as much as you can,

Opening your mouth and sighing that breath all the way out.

As you press that air out of your chest,

You may even feel your belly button pull towards your spine.

We'll take one more deep breath in through our nose and then open your mouth,

Breathing that air all the way out.

So you're getting even that stale air that's at the bottom of your lungs.

Relaxing your hands in your lap,

Sitting in an easy seat,

Your spine nice and tall,

Shoulders staffed over your hips,

Finding a natural easy breath.

Your breath moves freely in and out through your nose.

And as you take your next inhale,

Focusing on the sensation of that breath as it passes through your nostrils,

Makes its way into your lungs,

And the breath begins to become warm.

As you breathe out through your nose,

You feel the breath passing over your upper lip.

The body moves subtly as you breathe in and out.

Allow your shoulders to relax and create softness in your jaw,

In your forehead,

And create softness in the eyes,

Especially all those micro muscles around the eyes.

Softening into the stomach as you continue to breathe in and out.

You may have heard the expression,

You can't pour from an empty cup.

Our cup is our energy,

And there's so many different ways that our energy is restored.

And not one of us is exactly the same.

Sometimes spending time with our loved ones gives us energy.

And for some people,

Reading a book or sitting outside is just as energizing.

And each day we show up in our lives,

Helping others,

Performing tasks,

Showing up to work,

Showing up for our families,

Our partners,

Our children.

And each day we use our energy in some way.

As you continue to breathe nice and easy,

I want you to focus on your heart space.

In the center of your chest is our heart chakra.

Focusing on this space,

There might be a softness that you feel.

You may imagine colors,

Or there could be a warmth that washes over you as soon as you shift your focus here.

This is your heart center.

This is where we're going to call all of our energy back.

And I want you to imagine that all the energy you put out into the world for all of your different tasks,

Your people,

Your responsibilities,

Your goals that you're working toward,

Or the dreams that you have.

Imagining all that energy coming back into your heart space.

This is our way of recharging our battery.

And each part of that energy begins to fill up your heart space,

Coming together like the last few pieces of a puzzle.

As we sit here with this sensation,

Continue a natural breath,

And breathing in and out into your heart space.

Beginning to feel your energy realigning,

Your cup becoming filled up again,

Allowing your heart space to become full,

And knowing that all you needed was a few moments to pause,

To reset,

To call all of your energy back to your heart.

Once we are filled up again,

We can start again into our day,

Resetting in any way that we need.

Feeling this peace beyond measure,

Settling over our energy.

Begin to take another deep breath in through your nose,

And fully exhale all the air out.

As we bring this meditation to close,

Take a moment to show gratitude for yourself by allowing a smile to pass over your face.

Thank you so much for taking this time for yourself.

Blessed be.
