The purpose of today's meditation is to connect with the beautiful energies of the fall,

Closing out the winter season,

And really getting us ready for spring soon.

I will start with a short poem.

Today we clear out our garden of its weeds,

Of all that has not survived through the harshness of winter.

We let go of all that is not serving the growth of our garden of life.

We do this to create space,

To allow for new seeds to be planted,

To set new intentions in what our garden of life needs,

To give it a fresh new outlook,

Ready for new growth and new vitality.

We do this knowing that the seeds we plant today will not be fully grown tomorrow.

We clear out our garden of life to make space to plant these new seeds,

Knowing that we will have to tend to them to come back here from time to time,

To water and nourish the soils,

To feed our seeds of patience and watch as they grow slowly and consistently,

Nourishing them with our love and care.

So getting yourself in a comfortable position,

Either laying down or sitting,

Whatever is most comfortable for you,

Getting cozy with some blankets and pillows,

And gently closing your eyes.

And really just taking a moment here to reconnect with your breath,

Reconnecting with the natural rhythm of yourself as you wind down from your week or your day.

Taking a deep breath in through your nose here,

Filling your lungs and your chest fully,

And out through your mouth with a release,

Feeling the vitality of the oxygen entering your lungs,

Flowing through your body,

Reconnecting you to your own energy,

Your soul,

Your heart,

And your spirit.

And one more time,

Taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling those lungs and your heart right up,

And out through your mouth,

Releasing slowly but steadily,

Finding yourself settling back into your own self and your own rhythm,

Your breath stabilizing at its own pace,

And really just reconnecting to your own self and your core energy.

Now as you come into this relaxed state,

Feeling connected to your breath and your heart,

You find yourself in a garden.

This is your own personal garden of your own creation and manifestations of your life.

It's where you plant,

Grow,

And harvest the seeds of life.

With the winter season coming to a soon end and the arrival of spring,

The ground is beginning to defrost a little.

It's not quite as cold in the garden and there's movement beginning to start beneath the soil.

As things begin to defrost,

The full moon is shining brightly above you,

Almost as if the sun was shining during the day.

It shows you all of the weeds that need to be cleared out in your garden,

That even with the energy of the moon blasting on them,

They're not surviving or thriving in your life anymore.

So take a moment to see here what appears in your personal garden,

In your garden of life,

And just begin to clear out these weeds,

These dead plants that didn't survive through the winter season.

They represent these aspects of your life that you let go during the winter.

Now this could be aspects of yourself,

Mentalities,

Thought patterns,

Beliefs that just are not serving you anymore.

It could also be physical things in your life that you have to let go of,

Or that have,

Metaphorically speaking,

Died in your life,

Like having to let go of a job,

Or moving from an old to a new home.

It could also be people that you have to let go of,

Where relationships sort of just fizzled during this time.

Really all of these dead plants represent something in your life that as you move through the winter season have now passed on.

So as you clear through these weeds and dead plants,

Really pay attention to the energy that you feel,

The learnings and lessons that you can bring with you,

And also just taking note of the progress,

Of all the progress you've made,

Being able to let go of all of this,

To really make space for the new.

So take a moment here to just clear out,

To let go of all of this,

And just begin to clear out your garden.

And as you're clearing out these weeds,

Also start to rake out the soil,

Readying it for these new seedlings,

These new intentions,

These new manifestations for the upcoming spring season,

And even just for your year ahead of what you will be intentionally growing for yourself.

With it all ready now,

You take a moment here standing in the full embrace of this full moon,

Connecting directly to your heart center,

Your spirit,

Your soul.

The full moon releases any deep kind of weight and emotions you have around all that you are clearing right now,

And really allowing you to mentally,

Emotionally,

Psychologically,

And physically let go,

To really make space for the new that you are about to plant in your garden of life.

Feel the weight being lifted of these burdens,

The things that no longer serve you,

That you are able to move through during this winter season,

And just feel it being removed from your body,

Or from your mind,

From your heart,

From your chakras.

The bright light from this full moon is really pulling out and removing from all these energetic ties,

These attachments and expectations that may have been created under the soil,

These roots that also need to be pulled out,

And really clearing out a massive space in you to allow in this new.

And as it pulls out these energetic ties and attachments,

It's really leaving you feeling lighter,

Brighter,

And more open to what's ahead for you,

Open to really the magical possibilities and opportunities that life and the universe has for you.

Now lifting your hand up towards the moon in a cup shape,

The moon forms and gives you seeds to plant.

These are the new beginnings to grow into this new and fresh garden of your life.

You might have some ideas specifically in mind of what these seeds represent,

Or you might just feel energetically what they're going to be growing into over the next few months.

You walk with these seeds in your hand into your garden,

Planting them into the ground one by one,

Taking a moment before you plant them,

Each one of them,

To be aware or set the intention behind this seed,

As it really represents some kind of growth for you to experience in the next months and year.

And we will be revisiting this garden at the next full moon,

Coming back to see the progress of these seeds of growth.

Grateful for this clearing,

The insights,

And the seeds that are now planted,

The new that will soon be growing into your life.

You take a deep breath here,

Thanking the full moon for all it has provided for you today,

And really feeling ready for the new that is to come.

Returning now back into the present moment,

Breathing into your body,

Feeling these new sensations,

This lightness and brightness,

And knowing what kind of new you will be growing for yourself in your life over the next few months.

Feeling connected to your heart,

Your soul,

And your spirit.

Grateful for this life and the opportunities that it flows to you.

Thank you for meditating with me during this full moon.

I hope this was helpful in clearing,

Understanding its energies,

And making space for the new that is ahead.

Over the next few full moons,

We will be going back into our life gardens and seeing the progress that we've made,

How we are growing these new seeds,

These plants.

And taking one last deep breath,

You can open your eyes.
