Personally, I sometimes feel like I'm meditating all wrong, but I definitely know that this practice has helped me notice the little things a lot more. Hope it helps you with the same, and thanks for stopping by!

Hey there!

Here's a sweet practice to warm your heart on cool wintry days.

Taking a few moments to reflect on the small joys and everyday blessings.

As always,

Take your time settling into a comfy seat.

Allow your body to arrive exactly as it is.

Check in with your whole self here.

Take a slow breath in and a steady breath out.

Again inhale in and exhale out,

Taking it easy and slow.

There's no rush here and nowhere else you need to be for the next few minutes.

You already hit play so come along for the ride.

And as you breathe,

Notice the simple fact that you are breathing.

Air moving in,

Air moving out.

Belly and chest moving to this rhythm.

Even if you won't get another chance for stillness today,

Let this be your pause.

Savor this time for yourself.

With the next few breaths,

Gently bring to mind something small you're grateful for.

Just something simple.

The tree outside your window.

The pictures on your phone.

The steadiness of your heartbeat.

The ease of a sunrise.

The ability to be here right now.

The slow turn of the earth.

Inhale and acknowledge all the little things that come to mind.

Exhale and let yourself feel appreciation,

Even if it's subtle.

Breathe in.

Acknowledge.

Breathe out.

Appreciate.

Breathe in and acknowledge.

Breathe out and appreciate.

If another small joy or blessing arises,

Notice it gently,

One at a time.

Breathe in to acknowledge and breathe out to appreciate.

This quiet,

Uncomplicated recognition of all the little good things in your life.

Allow each breath to be a moment of thanks.

For these next final breaths together,

Rest in the space between breathing and noticing.

Letting gratitude be soft and effortless.

When you're ready to end this practice,

Enjoy one more slow inhale and full exhale.

Move through the rest of your day with this little gratitude and joy in your heart.

A little reminder that even small moments are enough.

And until next time,

Have a good one.
