Your sacred garden.
This guided visualization meditation will help you to access this inner sanctuary that you have within you to deeply relax and find peace.
Feeling comfortable either sitting down in your regular meditation posture or laying down with your neck supported.
Adjusting your posture,
If you're sitting have your feet flat on the floor.
If you're laying down,
Hands to your side,
Palms facing up.
We'll start by taking three intentional deep breaths in through the nose.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in,
Breathing in.
And just coming back to your regular breath.
Not forcing,
Just observing the breath,
Allowing the breath.
As you lay here or sit here,
I invite you to allow an image of a safe space to come into your awareness.
This will be an image of a place you've been to in real life that makes you feel happy,
That makes you feel love for all or a deep connection to all.
This could be your favorite garden,
Could be your favorite beach,
Could be a mountain top,
A riverside.
Whatever it is for you,
Just allow the image to come into your mind's eye.
Notice the colors in this space.
Notice the sounds.
Observe the light.
Simply let this image fully appear.
Notice if there are any animals or creatures,
Are there any birds,
Butterflies.
And if there are,
Let them flutter and flirt with you as they fly around this space.
And when you fully see this space in your mind's eye,
I invite you to breathe it in through your nose.
Breathe it deeply and intentionally into your heart space,
Magnetizing it here.
Letting this beautiful,
Incredible space fill your heart with love.
Let this space fill you with this love and allow your heart to feel at peace.
And just sit here for a little while,
Enjoying the abundance,
Enjoying your sacred space,
Allowing yourself to rest,
Allowing yourself to feel joy and fulfillment.
This is your safe space,
Your sacred garden,
Your heart space.
Rest safe in the knowing that you may return here whenever you feel called to.
And this space changes depending on what's going on in your waking life.
So pay attention to the subtle differences,
The changes,
The seasons in this space.
They are metaphors for your waking life.
And just take a moment to thank your heart space.
And let it know that you will return again.
And now slowly bring your attention back to your physical body.
Bring your attention to your fingertips,
To your toes,
To your tummy,
To your chest.
And I invite you to take one deep,
Intentional breath in through the nose and out through the nose.
And you can rub your hands together to create warmth and place the palms of your hand over your eyes.
And beneath your palms just slowly flutter your eyelids open,
Just welcoming in the light from between your fingers.
And when you're ready,
Taking your palms off of your eyes and slowly welcoming the waking world back into your reality.
That this peace you feel,
The peace from your garden,
You can carry it with you throughout your day.
