Welcome to this gentle Qigong flow for openness and grounding.

It's a short practice for balance and peace.

Let's start with an affirmation,

So repeat after me either silently or out loud.

I move with grace and ease.

In harmony with the breath of life.

Reflect on those words and breathe them deep into your heart.

Now,

We'll begin with a centering breath.

So,

Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart,

Your knees are soft and shoulders relaxed.

Let your arms rest gently at your sides,

Fingers relaxed.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Expand your chest,

Expand your belly,

And exhale slowly through your nose,

Releasing any stress or tension.

Again,

Inhale deeply,

Feel your breath rise like a wave,

And exhale slowly,

Letting the wave settle.

Once more,

A full,

Deep breath in,

And a full breath out,

Releasing any stress or tension.

Let the breath ground you into this moment.

Now,

As you inhale,

Float your arms up to shoulder height,

As if lifted by a gentle breeze.

Your palms face upward,

The heart is opening toward the sky.

As you exhale,

Let your arms softly and slowly return to your sides,

Palms turning toward the earth.

Feel your energy settle,

Grounding into this present moment.

Let's repeat six more times,

In your own time,

Moving with your breath.

Inhale,

Heart to sky,

Exhale,

Heart to earth.

Let your arms be like a feather,

Floating,

Relaxed,

And soft.

Once more,

Inhale softly and gently,

Arms to the sky,

And exhale,

Palms floating slowly down towards the earth.

Beautiful.

Resume your natural breathing.

Let's go a little deeper now,

Lifting to the sky.

So,

As you inhale,

Let your arms rise again,

This time lifting all the way up,

Your heart reaching fully to the sky.

Your palms meet gently overhead,

Gathering light and energy.

Pause here for a moment,

Breathing naturally.

Feel the spaciousness in your chest,

The connection between earth and sky.

Now,

As you exhale,

Let your hands slowly drift down the center line of your body,

Passing your heart and returning to your sides.

Feel yourself grounding deeply,

Heart to earth.

Your feet are stable and grounded to the earth beneath you.

Now,

Repeat this flow four more times,

In your own time.

Inhale,

Heart to sky,

Palms meet above your head,

Exhale,

Heart to earth.

If needed,

Just raise your arms as far as is comfortable for you.

Now,

Once more,

Inhale,

Let your arms float gently,

Raise your heart to the sky,

Your palms touch,

And you slowly exhale like a feather.

Feel your hands slowly drift down the center line of your body,

Passing your heart and returning to your sides.

Feel yourself grounding deeply,

Heart to earth.

Wonderful.

Now,

Slowly bring your hands together at your heart center,

The palms are touching in prayer position.

Feel the warmth between your hands,

The gentle rise and fall of your breath.

Now,

Take a moment to just breathe here with your natural breath.

Notice the balance within you,

The connection between sky and earth,

Movement and stillness,

Breath and presence.

Now,

Silently or out loud to yourself,

Repeat this affirmation after me.

I am open,

Grounded,

And at peace.

I am open,

Grounded,

And at peace.

My breath flows freely and my heart moves with the rhythm of life.

Reflect on those words and breathe them deep into your heart.

This gentle heart-to-sky,

Heart-to-earth flow invites openness,

Balance,

And connection.

With regular practice,

You may notice a greater sense of ease,

Lightness,

And presence into your daily life.

It helps to calm your mind,

Release tension,

And bring a sense of harmony between movement and breath.

So,
