Transcript

Welcome to the Tree of Life.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either standing or seated.

If standing,

Place your feet shoulder-width apart,

Knees soft,

And your weight evenly distributed.

If seated,

Plant your feet firmly on the ground,

With your spine tall and aligned.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Allow your body to fully relax.

Feel yourself settling into the present moment,

Preparing to embody the stillness and vitality of the tree.

Close your eyes,

Bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.

Imagine them opening like portals,

Allowing roots to grow downward into the earth.

Feel these roots extending deeply,

Winding through soil and stone,

Connecting you to the planet's core.

They anchor you,

Providing strength,

Stability,

And nourishment.

Inhale deeply,

Drawing up energy from the earth through your roots.

Exhale slowly,

Sending any tension or heaviness back down into the earth to be transformed.

Continue this flow of give and receive,

Like a tree exchanging energy with the soil below.

If standing,

Gently lift your arms in front of you to shoulder height,

Forming a soft circle,

As though cradling a ball of light.

If seated,

Rest your hands on your thighs,

Palms facing up or lightly cupped.

Now just visualize your body as a tree.

Your feet are deeply rooted,

Steady and strong.

Your legs are the powerful trunk,

Solid and grounded.

Your spine is tall and supple,

Reaching effortlessly toward the sky.

And your arms are the branches,

Spreading wide to embrace the air,

Alive with gentle energy.

Feel the crown of your head lifting upward as though it is reaching for the sun,

The back of your neck is long,

Your shoulders relaxed,

And your chest open.

In this posture,

Your body is aligned,

Your energy flows freely,

And you feel both grounded and expansive.

As you breathe in,

Imagine a warm,

Golden,

Healing light rising from the earth,

Through your roots,

Flowing up your legs,

Your spine and into your arms.

This light is nourishing every cell in your body,

Filling you with vitality.

And as you breathe out,

Visualize this healing energy expanding outwards,

Like sunlight radiating from your branches.

Picture it blending with the gentle breeze,

Carrying your peaceful essence into the world.

Allow this cycle of energy to flow naturally,

Filling you with calm and strength.

After a few moments,

Lower your arms gently and wrap them around yourself in a soft,

Nurturing embrace,

As though you are hugging the tree you have become.

Cross your arms over your chest or shoulders and feel the warmth and comfort of this connection.

In this embrace,

Imagine you are cradling a sphere of light,

It's the essence of the tree's wisdom and your own inner peace.

Let a soft smile grace your lips,

Radiating gratitude for the life force that flows through you and all of nature.

If you are seated,

Know that the flow of energy is just as profound.

Visualize yourself as a majestic tree standing tall in a peaceful forest,

Part of the interconnected web of life.

Wonderful.

Take a final deep breath in now,

Drawing energy up from the earth to your heart center.

And as you exhale,

Let that energy flow outward,

Nourishing the world around you.

Slowly release your arms,

Letting them rest by your sides or on your lap.

Open your eyes and take a moment to notice how grounded,

Calm and present you feel.

Carry the balance of strength and stillness with you as you move through your day,

Just like the tree,

Rooted yet reaching for the infinite.
