Hello and welcome!

This is Bailey Barber and I'm so grateful you are here with me tonight.

In this evening's experience,

I'll be sharing distance Reiki with you while guiding you through a deeply restorative yoga nidra practice.

This session is intentionally created to support and nourish your vagus nerve,

The body's pathway to inner calm,

Relaxation,

And restoration,

So your whole being can sink into a state of comfort,

Peace,

And profound rest.

You'll be held by my soothing sound healing frequency music featuring Delta binaural beats at 0.

5 Hertz combined with the harmonizing 285 Hertz frequency.

The 285 Hertz frequency is connected to cellular restoration and inner safety,

Helping the body unwind and return to a natural sense of balance.

The Delta waves guide the brain into its deepest sleep state where healing and nervous system repair take place.

My intention is that you drift into deep sleep with ease and wake up in the morning feeling lighter,

Replenished,

And renewed.

So when you feel ready,

You can begin to get your space set up for this practice tonight,

Arranging your pillows and blankets so that you can rest comfortably,

Perhaps lying on your back with a pillow under your knees if that feels supportive for you,

Or whatever position feels most nourishing.

Letting your legs rest naturally,

Your arms resting in a comfortable position,

And once you are ready and all settled in,

Let your eyes close as if they are drifting into twilight.

Notice yourself sinking just a little deeper into the surface beneath you,

Feeling yourself gently held,

Fully supported.

There is nothing to accomplish here,

Nothing to organize or figure out.

Simply arriving in to rest.

Take a slow,

Deep inhale,

Allowing the breath to gently expand your heart space,

Filling your belly with air,

Taking a gentle pause at the top of the breath,

And then releasing the air with ease,

Letting your whole body soften on the exhale,

And then allow your breath to settle into a smooth,

Natural rhythm,

Effortlessly flowing in and out like waves to the shore.

And bring your awareness now to your heart space,

Where we will plant your sankalpa,

Your loving intention,

Spoken as a truth in the present tense.

This is a short statement that serves your highest good.

You might choose,

I am at peace,

I am safe to sleep,

Or perhaps I rest with ease.

Whatever arises for you is perfect in this moment.

And once you have your sankalpa,

Repeat it silently three times,

Letting the words settle deeply into your heart.

And as I begin to send you distance Reiki now,

Imagine a soft orb of Reiki light hovering just above the crown of your head,

Warm,

Serene,

And filled with healing presence.

This gentle light begins to lower,

Surrounding you with calm and peace.

It arrives first at your crown chakra,

Offering spaciousness,

Quiet clarity,

And a sense of deep connection to all that is.

It glides down to your third eye chakra,

Soothing the forehead,

Releasing tension around the eyes,

And gently guiding the mind into peaceful stillness.

The light continues to your throat chakra,

Softening the neck and throat,

Releasing anything that feels tight,

And allowing the breath to move freely.

It flows into your heart chakra,

Filling your chest with warmth,

Compassion,

And spaciousness,

Creating a sense of quiet stillness there.

Then the light reaches your solar plexus chakra,

Calming your inner power,

And encouraging your vagus nerve to bring relaxation and comfort.

It moves into your sacral chakra,

Easing the lower belly,

And dissolving any emotional heaviness,

Helping the body to feel soft.

And finally,

It arrives at your root chakra,

Grounding your energy fully,

Reminding your body you are secure,

Supported,

And safe here.

From the base of your spine,

This reiki light begins to expand,

Flowing down your hips,

Through your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Ankles,

Feet,

And all the way to the tips of your toes.

And from your heart center,

This reiki light begins to expand through your shoulders,

Your upper arms,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

Wrists,

Hands,

And all the way out to the tips of your fingers.

With each inhale and exhale,

The light expands further,

Forming a soft cocoon of healing light around your entire body.

You are wrapped in this gentle energy.

Your body knows it can let go.

Your mind knows it is time to rest,

And your nervous system drifts into deep peace.

You are safe.

You are supported.

You are free to slip into peaceful sleep.

Gently move your awareness now like a soft spotlight,

Part by part,

As the energy flows where your attention is guided.

Now imagine that you are resting on a peaceful shoreline at night.

A quiet stretch of beach where the world feels soft,

Still,

And deeply calm.

Beneath you,

You lie on a warm blanket on the sand.

With the sand warm from the daylight of the sun.

Shaping perfectly to your body.

The earth holding you with gentle ease.

The ocean stretches out before you like a silky blanket of silver and blue.

Waves roll in slowly and drift away again.

Their rhythm soothing your whole being.

With every breath,

Notice how the air smells fresh with salt and sea breeze.

How each exhale helps everything inside of you soften.

Your muscles loosening.

Your mind settling.

Your nervous system releasing in to rest.

Above you,

A wide night sky opens.

Endless and sparkling.

The stars glimmer over the water like diamonds on glass.

Each one glowing with calm,

Steady light.

The moon hangs full and bright.

With soft reflections across the waves that dance gently up the shore.

A breeze sweeps across your forehead.

A soft ocean kiss.

It whispers to you,

You are safe here.

All is well.

You can rest now.

There is nothing left to do.

No effort needed.

Just allow yourself to be held by the earth,

The ocean,

The night,

And the stars.

Feel the vast energy of the sea surrounding you.

Feel the night sky above you,

Keeping a tender watch over you.

The earth beneath you holds you.

You are wrapped in peace.

Your body can let go.

Your heart can unwind.

As sleep rises up to meet you.

You are safe.

You are supported.

You are free to rest.

Drifting gently into deep,

Peaceful sleep.

The ocean continues to breathe.

The stars continue to shine.

And you may sleep now.
