Hello and welcome!

This is Bailey Barber and I'm so grateful you are here with me tonight.

In this evening's experience I'll be offering you distance Reiki as I lead you through a deeply restful yoga nidra practice.

This practice is thoughtfully created to help soothe and support your vagus nerve,

Your body's natural pathway to rest,

Allowing your whole being to settle into ease,

Comfort,

And profound restoration.

You'll be listening to my gentle sound healing frequency music with Delta binaural beats at 0.

5 Hertz blended with the 936 Hertz frequency.

The 936 Hertz frequency is linked with expanded awareness,

Inner harmony,

And energetic balance,

Helping the body to release tension and return to its natural state of balance and harmony.

The Delta binaural beats guide your brainwaves into its deepest restorative sleep state where healing and the nervous system can naturally renew and rejuvenate itself.

My intention for this practice this evening is that you drift off easily and rise in the morning feeling refreshed and deeply restored.

So when you're ready,

Gently ease yourself into a comfortable position,

Perhaps lying on your back,

Letting your legs stretch out naturally.

And if it feels supportive,

You can place a pillow beneath your knees,

Supporting your lower back,

Letting your arms rest alongside your body,

Palms open,

Soft and receptive,

With your blankets pulled up cozily to keep you warm as you fall asleep.

Gently let your eyelids lower as though dusk is settling in around you.

Feel your body sinking a little deeper into the surface beneath you,

Completely supported,

Without needing to try.

There is nothing required of you now,

No tasks,

No effort,

Just arriving softly in to rest.

Take a slow,

Steady inhale,

Letting your chest and belly expand fully,

Pausing at the top.

And then exhale,

Releasing the shoulders,

Relaxing the jaw,

Allowing the entire body to soften.

Let your breath find an easy,

Smooth rhythm,

Quiet and natural.

Bring your awareness to the center of your chest.

Here we offer your zen kalpa,

A simple,

Present tense intention that nurtures your well-being.

Perhaps,

I am peaceful,

I am supported in sleep,

I rest with ease.

Whatever naturally arises for you is perfect in this moment.

Repeat your zen kalpa inwardly three times,

Letting the energy of the words gently settle through your being.

And now,

As I begin to send you distance reiki,

Imagine a soft stream of reiki energy forming above the crown of your head,

A luminous,

Comforting presence,

Warm and gentle,

Ready to hold you through the night.

This healing light begins to flow downward,

Soothing your scalp,

Softening your forehead,

Relaxing your temples,

Soothing the muscles of your jaw.

Your thoughts drift into quiet.

Your eyes grow heavier.

Your tongue relaxes in your mouth.

The reiki flows into your neck and shoulders,

Melting the weight of the day,

Creating spaciousness where tightness once lived.

Your arms feel heavy and supported.

Your hands warm.

Your fingers resting open,

Without effort.

And the light of reiki flows down into your chest,

Softening the heart space,

Opening space for breath to flow more easily,

Helping to blow away anything you wish to release from your day.

And the light flows down into your ribs,

Your abdomen,

Your lower back,

Everything unwinding,

Softening,

Surrendering to rest.

And the reiki light drifts down into your hips and pelvis,

Releasing stored tension,

Letting the body feel safe,

Open,

And at ease.

Your thighs become relaxed.

Your knees soft.

Your calves calm and still.

The reiki light gently reaches your ankles,

Your feet,

Your toes,

Soothing away every last trace of effort,

Of tightness,

As your whole body is now enveloped in a field of peaceful,

Nurturing energy.

Held in this deep,

Quiet,

Relaxed state.

Nothing to hold,

Nothing to do.

Your nervous system understands it is safe to fully rest here.

You are cradled in comfort.

You are supported by this healing light.

You are free to drift into deep,

Restorative sleep.

Now gently move your awareness slowly like a warm,

Gentle light traveling through the body.

Let the energy of reiki follow wherever your attention goes.

No need to force anything.

Now imagine you are resting on a wooden dock beside a calm mountain lake at night.

Beneath you there are soft warm blankets warmed by the sun earlier in the day,

Now perfectly cocooning your skin.

The lake is still as glass,

Reflecting the moon and the constellations as though the sky exists twice,

Above and beneath you.

Your breath moves in soft harmony with the water,

Rising,

Falling,

Like ripples expanding gently across the surface.

The night air gently brushes your cheeks,

Bringing a clear,

Refreshing ease to your breath.

Each exhale lets your body release more fully into comfort,

Into softness,

Into rest.

Around you the mountains stand like peaceful guardians,

Solid and unwavering,

Watching over you as you sleep.

They seem to whisper to you,

You are safe here,

You can rest now,

There's nothing to think,

Nothing to try for,

Just let yourself be supported by the surface beneath you,

By the mountains around you,

And by the quiet,

Peaceful night.

You are at peace,

You are held,

You are drifting into deep sleep.

The mountains stand strong around you,

The lake remains peaceful beneath you,

You are safe here,

You are not alone,

And you may sleep now.
