Well hello there.
Welcome to Celestial Gems.
This is a space of magic,
Wonder,
And fierce self-discovery.
I'm Gem,
And I'll be your guide for today.
When you're ready,
Please get into a comfortable position,
Either laying on the floor or sitting upright in a chair.
Whatever feels comfortable to you while keeping your back fairly straight.
Maybe you also need a moment to shake out any excess energy.
Maybe you need to move about a little and release until you feel ready to be still.
Soften your gaze now,
Or close your eyes.
Whatever is feeling best for you in this moment.
There's no right or wrong,
No judgment.
We're just taking a moment,
Finding stillness.
When you feel ready,
Take a breath in,
Gentle and steady.
At the top of your breath,
See if you can pause for a moment and exhale when it feels good to you.
As you begin to notice your breath,
The way it moves through your body,
The rising and falling of your belly.
Notice how it feels as you breathe slowly in through your nose.
Exhale from the mouth,
Dropping your shoulders,
Unclenching your jaw,
And relaxing your hands if you notice you're holding tension there.
Releasing any tight grips.
Inhale through the nose,
Following your breath inward,
Allowing now the sounds around you to softly fade into the distance.
Notice how it feels when you pause at the top of your breath.
Exhale from the mouth.
Final breath in,
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Noticing the parts of your body touching the surface.
Breathe out softly,
Deeply,
Feel the earth below you.
Supporting you,
Holding your body.
Now just allow your breath to return to its usual pace,
Staying aware of the ground beneath you and allowing your body to grow softer,
Heavier here.
There's nothing to do,
Nothing to perfect,
Nothing to change.
Let's just simply be.
As the season shifts into Aries,
We enter a moment in the Zodiac Cycle associated with beginnings,
Courage,
And the spark of action.
In astrology,
Aries rules the first house,
The house that looks at our need to develop independence and self-awareness.
Ruled by Mars,
This cardinal sign drives an energy that promotes starting,
Beginning,
And getting things done.
Whether or not you follow astrology,
This moment can be an invitation to reconnect with your own courage,
Independence,
And self-awareness.
Psychologists describe self-awareness as the ability to observe ourselves clearly,
Noticing our thoughts,
Our feelings,
Our reactions,
Our patterns,
Without becoming trapped inside them.
Aries teaches us that courage can begin with self-awareness.
As Aries marks the beginning of the Zodiac,
It's the moment where something new breaks through the soil,
A spark,
The first breath of courage that says,
I exist,
I am.
Aries is a pioneer,
A maverick,
Unafraid of the judgment of others.
This is the season of beginnings,
Of fearless pursuits,
Finding your fire to burn and begin.
Fire,
After all,
Is the oldest symbols of renewal.
Where in your life are you being invited to begin again?
As you begin to breathe in,
Reflect on the question.
Focus there for a moment,
That invitation to begin again.
As you breathe out,
Imagine releasing any hesitation that may have been holding you back.
Like smoke,
Drifting away into the sky.
What part of you is ready to act with more courage?
Breathe in,
Pondering this,
Thinking about it.
Where do you need more courage?
And this doesn't have to be complicated.
It doesn't have to mean skydiving.
Everyday courage can simply mean saying no,
Standing up for yourself,
Standing up for others.
Courage can mean many different things.
So perhaps really the question is,
What does courage mean to you?
Let's breathe here,
Thinking about that.
What does courage mean to you?
Breathe in.
If you can't hold at the top of your breath,
If you can't,
That's okay too.
When you feel ready,
Exhale,
Feeling the release of anything that might be holding you back,
That might be preventing you from moving forward.
Like tar gripping you,
Pulling you down.
Let your breath release yourself from that.
What would it feel like to trust your intuition and allowing this natural gut instinct to guide you?
Take a slow breath in through the nose,
Observing your breath as it flows into your body,
Hitting the points where the feelings have emerged.
Hold at the top of your breath just for a moment.
Breathe out as though you are releasing yourself.
Feel yourself untangled.
Feel yourself lighter,
Freer.
Take a deep breath in,
Connecting your breath with the feelings.
And as you exhale,
This time,
If it feels natural to you,
You might want to release the breath with a sigh or a groan,
A noise.
Try it now if you like.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Observing still as the breath moves through the body.
Maybe it reaches your toes,
Maybe just your stomach or your groin.
Hold at the top of the breath,
Acknowledging the moment in between.
As you exhale,
Make it deep,
Make it loud if that feels good to you.
The spark of Aries doesn't demand perfection.
It's talking to the courage of beginning again and understanding how beginnings will mean an ending somewhere.
And that's okay.
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to trust yourself along the way.
Take the final breath in and when you're ready,
Let's begin to return to the space you were in.
Slow breath in,
Feeling the surface beneath you.
Notice the sounds in the room around you become clearer.
Begin to wriggle your fingers and toes gently.
Beginnings and endings are all part of the same cycle.
You are a powerful being.
You have the strength and the courage.
You can move in any way that feels best to you.
You don't have to do what others do.
Be the maverick.
Be your own leader.
Take a deep breath in,
Allowing the warmth of your breath to flow through your body.
Pausing just for a moment if you can and then when you feel ready,
Exhale,
Opening your eyes.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
Until we meet again,
Goodbye my celestial friend.
