Hello and thank you so much for joining me today.

My name is Kareem and I invite you to get fully comfortable,

Whether you're sitting down or laying,

However feels right for you in this moment.

Take any wiggles that you need to to really help your body settle in and take a slow deep breath in and a releasing breath out.

Inhale deeply and slowly exhale.

Allow your whole body to soften,

Letting your shoulders and legs relax,

Letting your body melt heavily into the mat beneath you.

With every breath feel yourself arriving fully into this moment,

Into your meditation.

There is nowhere else to be and nothing else to do.

Close the door on the outside world,

Let any distractions fade away.

This moment is all yours.

Picture yourself in a warm cozy cabin.

Your cozy cabin glows with warmth.

Inside there's a fireplace crackling softly,

Filling the room with a soothing amber glow.

Flickering flames dance across the wooden walls and you notice a cozy chair layered with thick blankets and soft pillows waiting just for you.

You sit down,

Lay back and settle in,

Wrapped in warmth,

Supported and safe.

You gaze outside the window to the beautiful winter landscape.

You see the birds,

The sunlight,

The naked trees.

Seeing the peaceful scene outside makes you feel even cozier inside.

All is calm,

Still and softly glowing.

You feel the heat of the fireplace soothing your body.

Starting at your toes,

The warmth begins to spread like a slow golden wave through your feet and ankles,

Your calves and knees,

Up to your thighs and your hips.

You feel the warmth of the fireplace soften your back,

Your belly,

Your chest.

It melts across your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Into your hands and fingertips.

The warmth rises through your neck,

Your jaw softens,

Your forehead smooths,

Your whole face is so relaxed and at ease.

The glow of the fireplace becomes a gentle golden light within you.

With every inhale your inner warmth grows brighter and every exhale it spreads gently through your whole body.

Breathe in the golden light within you,

That warm,

Cosy golden light and exhale,

Feel it flow through your whole body like a soft blanket of golden light.

Allow yourself to rest here in your cosy cabin,

Doing nothing,

Simply being.

Allow yourself to let go.

Stay here for as long as it feels good for you,

But when you do feel ready,

Bring your focus back to your breath,

The air as it flows in and out.

Now breathe a little deeper into the belly and feel the ground beneath you.

Notice any sensations in your hands or your feet.

And let's give them a little wiggle,

Wiggle the fingers,

Wiggle the toes.

And let's take one final slow deep breath in.

And now as you exhale,

Carry this warmth and the calm back with you.
