Welcome to this new moon meditation.

Working with the moon offers a great opportunity to begin to understand and follow the cycles of nature,

To embrace the ebb,

Flow and rhythm of life.

The new moon marks the start of the lunar cycle,

Signifying a clean slate and the chance to plant new intentions for the coming month.

Its energy can heighten intuition and it's said to be a potent time for manifestation.

Begin by finding a comfortable grounding space,

Taking in the environment around you,

Looking up and down,

To the left and to the right,

Taking in all of the space around you.

Through this meditation,

I'm going to offer you an invitation to expand and tap into the layers of your own heart's wishes.

If it feels good to you,

I now invite you to relax the eyes.

You can begin to recall the space around you from before the eyes were closed,

Picturing the space that you're in,

Allowing this to happen without too much force and then just allowing the images to pass by.

You can begin to place one hand over your heart and maybe allow the other to relax onto the stomach,

Beginning to become the observer of your breath.

Taking a nice,

Deep,

Nourishing breath in through the nose,

Maybe allowing the stomach to expand with this breath and then exhaling through the mouth and just letting go that expansion.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Noticing how your body is being held by the earth beneath you.

With each inhale,

Allowing the energy from the earth to support you and with each exhale,

Just releasing any tension and just allowing yourself to soften into this moment.

Maybe allowing the breath to now just go back to normal and allowing the hands to gently relax.

Inviting yourself to notice that deep within the centre of your being,

There is a flower.

That flower can be whatever you want it to be.

Maybe a rose,

A lotus or a wildflower.

This flower is really special to you.

Right now,

That flower is a closed bud.

It's being held gently in its own embrace,

Protected yet full of potential.

With each breath,

You can begin to imagine a golden energy pouring all over your skin,

Awakening and shining onto the heart and landing softly on your flower bud.

If it feels like it's the right time for you,

The outer layers of your bud begin to open.

You bask in this golden energy,

Relaxing with each inhale and letting go of any resistance with every exhale.

Feeling unrushed yet aware of the deepest part of your essence,

Your heart,

As it expands your capacity to receive love,

Joy and anything else you want to add.

Watching as your flower blossoms,

As it grows beyond limits in ways that bring a beautiful sense of aliveness.

Feeling an openness from within.

Feeling this aliveness through the whole of your body.

And noticing this moon energy.

How it's like a magic wand,

Sprinkling luck and fortune onto your heart's desires and wishes.
