We'll begin seated.
And as you become more comfortable with this technique,
You'll be able to try this practice standing.
Let's start by getting comfortable.
Sit with your back straight,
Shoulders relaxed,
And feet flat on the floor.
Place your hands gently on your lap or resting by your sides.
Allow yourself to settle into this moment.
Feeling the weight of your body grounded in your seat,
Close your eyes.
Take a deep,
Gentle breath in.
And a full,
Total exhale out.
We'll start with a simple round of breaths to warm up.
Then move into a slightly deeper pattern to recharge your body.
Let's begin with a round of energizing belly breaths.
We'll be breathing in and out through the mouth,
Focusing on filling up the belly with each inhale.
For this round,
Keep it simple.
Breathing deeply,
But with ease.
Take a full breath in through the mouth.
Letting your belly expand.
Gently releasing the breath through the mouth.
Allowing the belly to fall.
Inhale into the belly.
And release.
Continue this pace.
Breathe in fully.
Filling your belly.
And then let go.
Keep the breath steady,
Rhythmic,
And focus on expanding the belly with each inhale.
Letting it soften with each exhale.
Let's do ten more together now.
Breathing deep into the belly.
And letting the belly soften on the exhale.
For our eleventh breath,
We will do a deep inhale following the breath from belly to chest to head.
And holding it for twenty seconds.
We'll begin in three,

Deep inhale all the way in.
Fall into this present moment.
And put your focused attention on your forehead.
Focus.
Blow the air out in three,

One.
Now we'll shift into a calming,
Yet energizing breath pattern.
Breathing in and out through the nose.
We'll breathe in for two seconds.
Hold for two seconds.
Exhale for four seconds.
