Welcome,
My name is Susan and I'm honored to guide you through this 10 minute mountain breeze meditation for clarity and lightness.
Find a comfortable position.
You may choose to sit with your spine tall or lie down with your body fully supported.
Allow your hands to rest gently,
Palms open,
Signaling to yourself that you are ready to receive.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let your body settle.
Let your breath arrive naturally.
Feel gravity holding you and give your weight to it fully.
Begin to notice the air as it enters your nose and leaves through your mouth.
Cool as it enters,
Warm as it exits.
Your breath is gentle,
Light,
Effortless.
Imagine you are breathing in a breeze,
Fresh,
Clean,
And alive,
And exhaling like the wind,
Soft,
Releasing,
And free.
With each breath,
Imagine more openness inside you,
More space,
More ease.
Now picture yourself standing on a quiet mountaintop.
The blue sky is endless and bright.
Above,
A few feathery clouds drift lazily by.
You feel a soft wind brushing against your skin.
You turn your face into it as the world stretches wide before you.
You feel the wind on your cheeks and notice that it carries the scent of pine and wildflowers.
You feel calm,
Centered,
Spacious.
With each inhale,
The wind moves through you,
Sweeping away worry.
With each exhale,
It carries those worries far over the mountains until they disappear.
Notice how the air feels against your skin,
Sometimes playful,
Sometimes still,
Yet always present.
Hear it whisper through the grass,
Across the rocks,
And into the open sky.
Let your thoughts drift like clouds,
Light,
Untethered,
Passing in their own time.
Feel the air around you,
Brushing over your arms,
Your face,
Your chest.
Imagine it curling gently through your hair,
Around your shoulders,
Wrapping you in softness.
Listen to the faint song of wind,
Sometimes a whisper,
Sometimes a sigh.
Let it remind you nothing in nature clings,
Everything moves,
Shifts and flows.
You too can let things pass.
The wind does not chase or hold,
It simply moves forward.
Take a moment here in stillness,
Breathing,
Listening,
Allowing your mind to quiet in the spaciousness.
Imagine now that the wind carries with it a gentle golden light.
With each inhale,
The golden light swirls into you,
Filling your chest,
Your belly,
Your arms and legs.
With each exhale,
It moves out,
Carrying away any heaviness,
Any tension,
Anything that does not serve you.
Feel yourself becoming lighter,
Clearer,
Freer.
You may even sense your body swaying slightly with the rhythm of the wind,
Like a tree rooted yet flexible,
Safe,
Steady,
Unshakable,
Yet always in harmony with movement.
Stay with this image for a few breaths,
Simply breathing and receiving.
Begin to deepen your breath,
Slowly awakening the body.
Feel the air nourish you as it enters,
Bright,
Clean and full of possibility.
As you exhale,
Release the unnecessary,
Like leaves drifting on the wind.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Feel yourself returning to the present,
Grounded yet light.
Take one final full deep breath,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Carry this clarity and lightness into your day.
And remember,
Just like the wind,
You are free to move,
To shift and to let go.
