Hi and welcome to today's meditation on love and peace.

Wherever you are right now,

Walking,

Sitting,

Lying down or even in the chaos of your day,

This is a space for stillness,

A space for softness and return.

The world may feel like it's spinning fast right now and there is so much noise,

So much happening and maybe your heart feels it deeply.

But peace is not something we wait for.

Love is not something we demand from the world.

These begin inside,

With our breath,

With our intention and today with a simple mantra.

So let the next 20 minutes be together to breathe in love and to breathe out peace.

Not to escape the world,

But to remember who we are inside it.

So find a comfortable place,

Make yourself really comfortable sitting or laying down.

Let your body be held by the earth beneath you.

Let your body and yourself settle.

Let's take a few soft deep breaths in together,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling gently out through the nose.

One more time,

Inhale through the nose,

Gentle exhale through the nose.

When you feel comfortable and safe,

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Feel your breath coming and going.

Feel how it holds you,

Quietly,

Always.

Nothing to fix,

Nothing to achieve,

Just this breath and this one.

And on your next inhale,

Breathe in love and on your breath out,

Breathe out peace.

Breathe in love and breathe out peace,

Exhale peace,

Inhale love,

Let the words ride your breath like a gentle tide.

Now let's make it into a mantra that we can repeat silently to ourselves over and over.

On an inhale,

I breathe in love and on an exhale,

I breathe out peace.

Inhaling I breathe in love,

Exhaling I breathe out peace.

Keep repeating it silently over and over and if thoughts come and they will,

That's ok,

You're human,

Just come back to the mantra,

Effortlessly and gently,

I come back to breathing in love and I breathe out peace.

Coming back to your breath,

Back to love and back to peace,

I'll watch the time,

I breathe in love,

I breathe out peace.

Now allow that love,

That peace to expand,

Feel it radiate from your heart like soft light moving outward,

Filling up the room,

The building you're in,

Feeling it radiating and spreading to your loved ones and expanding it to those you find difficult,

You struggle with and keep radiating all that love and peace on every exhale to your community,

Those close and far,

Spread that love and peace all over the world to all living beings,

That soft light lighting up with love and peace and softly send this wish,

May all beings feel loved,

May all beings live in peace,

May all beings feel loved,

May all beings live in peace,

Let's stay in this vibration for just a moment or two and I'll gently begin to return to your breath,

To your body,

To the here and now,

Softly wiggling your fingers or toes if that feels comfortable,

But before you move on with your day,

Let this stillness ripple forward with you,

You might gently ask yourself today and in the following days,

Can I carry peace into the next moment,

Is this love what I'm about to say,

Do or send into the world,

Can I take just one conscious breath before I respond,

Especially when it's hard,

Am I showing up for my values or my reaction,

Let the mantra become a way of living not just meditating like we just did,

But a conscious daily mantra that you live by breathing in love,

Breathing out peace,

Let it guide your words,

Let it soften your thoughts,

Let it hold you when the world feels heavy,

You don't need to change the world all at once,

You can't,

We can't,

But each time you choose presence,

Each time you choose peace,

You are part of the healing,

So thank you,

Thank you for being here and meditating with me today,

For choosing softness in a heavy world,

For being peace and for being love,

With tenderness from me and Fudge,

My sweet Chichu,

Take a final deep breath in and out and return slowly to your day,

Namaste.
