Hi,
Welcome to this soft morning meditation,
A soft rise to awaken from within,
A moment to meet your morning with breath and with ease.
So honored that you chose to meditate with me this morning.
Hi,
My name is Helen.
Find your place and make yourself really comfortable and let's settle in and let's begin.
Comfort is queen,
My meditation teacher David Yee always says,
So make sure that you're really comfortable.
Let's take a long slow deep breath in through our nose and gently sigh that out.
Let comfort be your guide in this meditation and when you're ready,
Allow your eyes to gently float closed.
And let's take a few long slow deep breath in together,
We're breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose,
Breathing in calm and breathing out anything that doesn't serve you and breathe out anything that's no longer serving.
Let's breathe in and expand,
Let's exhale and soften,
Let's inhale and rise like light and exhale root like earth,
Inhale lift your heart,
Exhale settle into being and keep on breathing in and out through your nose,
Feel the rhythm move through you,
Let your breath lead and let stillness support you for a few more breaths,
No need to force,
Now I'd like to invite a gentle light into your body,
Imagine a soft,
Warm,
Bright,
Beautiful light entering just above the area of your heart,
The area of your chest,
Just above your heart and you might even want to put your left hand there just to guide it,
A beautiful soft,
Bright light,
Warm,
Present and kind and let this light slowly travel downward through your body,
From your chest area down to your heart,
Through your belly,
Your hips,
Your upper legs,
Your lower legs,
Into your feet,
All your toes and the bottom of your feet,
Connecting with the earth and then gently let that light rise upward again,
From the bottom of your feet,
Back into your lower legs,
Your upper legs,
Your hip area,
Your belly and your lower back,
Through your heart,
Your chest area,
Let that light fill you up completely,
Through your throat,
All the way up into your head,
Softly into your face and the space behind your eyes and finally all the way up to the crown of your head and then let it go back to your heart,
From the top of your head,
Passing the back of your head,
Through your neck again,
Through your chest and finally resting into your heart.
By now your whole body is filled with this light and with each inhale you expand that light beyond you,
Beyond your body,
Filling up the whole room and all the space,
Warming and brightening up the room with your light,
As if you are held in light and softly awake.
Let's stay here for a few more breaths.
Inside this light there is movement,
There's an opening,
Like a flower turning towards the light,
Starting to bloom,
Without sound,
Just becoming.
You're not behind,
You are already in bloom.
Let this stillness and light be your soil and let your breath be your sun.
Inhale,
Become and exhale,
Belong.
Let's offer the body and the breath a gentle mantra.
You may repeat it out loud after me or silently within.
I rise with breath.
I root in being.
I unfold in time.
I rise with breath.
I root in being.
I unfold in time.
One last time.
I rise with breath.
I root in being.
I unfold in time.
Let this echo.
No need to do or force anything,
Just let it echo into the space,
Into the nothingness.
Now gently return to your heart.
A beautiful,
Kind,
Wonderful heart.
You might place your hand there,
If it's not already.
Let's ask ourselves the following question.
What quality would I love to feel today?
What quality would I love to feel today?
Just stay with the area of your heart.
Don't try to force answers,
Just simply let answers rise and come up.
What quality would I love to feel today?
Maybe what rises is a word.
Maybe it's a feeling,
A sensing,
An image.
However it may present itself and it rises,
It's all good.
No need to force anything.
Just trust that whatever comes up is perfect.
And when nothing seems to come up,
That's perfect too.
Trust that asking yourself the question,
Asking your heart the question,
Is all that you need to do.
What quality would I love to feel today?
And let's gently hold that in your breath and take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And just let that go.
And trust that whatever needs to happen,
Happens.
Now gently return to the space,
Back to your body.
Feel your body,
Your feet,
Your hands,
Your head.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.
Just be gentle.
Let your breath stay soft for a moment.
And when you're ready,
Gently flutter your eyes open.
Step into your day with presence.
No need to rush.
You're already risen.
Have an amazing,
Beautiful day.
And thank you for meditating with me.
Namaste.
