Hello,

Welcome to today's meditation which is called magic,

Magic,

Magic.

Oftentimes we go through life just kind of doing our thing every day,

The usual routines,

We've got our to-do list,

We're checking our phones,

Our emails,

We're eating,

We're taking care of our family,

And we miss the magic that is in our everyday lives.

The mind chatters,

And we miss things like laughing,

And flowers blooming,

And those synchronistic moments that bring such beautiful meaning to our lives.

Sometimes we don't even remember laughing in our day and maybe we did numerous times but before go,

Go,

Going,

And we missed it.

So we're just going to work on staying present and noticing the magic that happens in our lives every single day.

And that way you can start to experience it more and more and watch your life turn around when you experience and recognize the magic that happens every single day.

So as you settle into your most comfortable space to meditate,

I invite you to close your eyes if you haven't already,

And I'm going to ask you right away for a little simple reflection.

When was the last time you feel like you felt or saw magic happening in your life?

We personally believe there's magic all around us all day long.

We only need to be present to recognize it.

There's magic in nature,

There's magic within our own physical and mental beings,

There's magic in the way life unfolds.

When we were kids,

We had more of a focus on a daily magical piece of our lives,

Didn't we?

And we can have that as adults too.

Sometimes it just means stepping into the unknown and trusting.

Other times it means just simply being present enough to see the magic that's right in front of you.

I ask you,

How can you step through the door of magic?

How can you create more wonder in your life?

Take a moment of silence to meditate on that.

As I mentioned,

Your life can change when you look,

See,

And feel the magic in your every single day.

And I guarantee you it's there if you're open to seeing it.

Your life will change in a joyful way when you invite magic into your every day.

And it can be simple things that,

Like I said,

That you just don't even recognize,

Like unexpectedly bumping into a friend at the coffee shop and it turning into something super cool that you just let go by and didn't even think,

Like,

Wow,

That was a magical experience.

How about things like receiving a little bonus at work you weren't expecting?

Sometimes it's something huge,

Like a spontaneous healing.

Sometimes it's something more subtle,

Like flowers blooming in your yard.

It could be things like a child smiling at you.

The presence of a dog or cat or other animal that crosses your path and brings you a smile.

So many things that we go by and we don't recognize in our day that are so magical.

And it's often presents.

We're just not present enough these days.

So how about a little breath work to create a little more focus and presence in our lives?

We can do that with box breathing.

And I'm going to guide us now through five rounds of a four count box breath.

Let's begin.

Breathe in through your nose for a count of four.

Hold the breath for a count of four.

Exhale through your nose for a count of four.

Hold that breath for a count of four.

Guiding you with a very specific count now so you can really focus in.

Inhale,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Exhale through the nose,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold your exhale,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Inhale,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Exhale,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Two more rounds.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Hold.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Hold.

Bringing your breath when you're ready back to its natural pace,

Its natural rhythm,

And noticing if you feel any more present.

Now asking,

As you've gotten older and you've gone through life's challenges,

Have you lost your belief in magic?

That belief that life can be amazing.

When you were a kid,

Or maybe as an adult,

Did you ever ask for a certain wish?

Even if it was just one of those blowing out the birthday candles kind of wishes,

Did any of your wishes ever come true?

When's the last time you even took the time to make a wish?

And sometimes we just simply forget that,

Oh,

Yeah,

That did come true.

Again,

That presence.

I think sometimes as we've aged,

We've lost that ability to wish for things.

How about right now?

What do you wish for?

Just put it out there.

See what happens.

What is your heart wanting to wish for?

Hold that wish close.

Feel grateful for whatever it is,

As if it's already here.

And if you believe in magic,

It will be led to you.

And for this final part of our magic,

Magic,

Magic meditation,

I invite you to bring to mind five things you're grateful for in your life right now.

The more we stay positive and in a place of gratitude,

The more room you're creating for magic to enter your life.

So right now,

Bring to mind five things you're grateful for.

And when your wishes come true,

And when you start to see that magic in your everyday,

Recognize it,

Acknowledge it,

Express gratitude for it,

Celebrate it.

Dance,

Play,

Love,

Magic is all around you.

And when you recognize it,

You invite more of it into your life.

It's so easy to get wrapped up in work and life and this and that,

But all it takes is presence and opening your eyes and mind to see it all and to celebrate it all.

Delve into that energy of celebrating the magic again and again and again every time you recognize it.

Now,

When you're ready to come back from today's meditation,

I invite you to go out and feel the magic.

All right.

Bring yourself back here into this time and space you're in,

The reality of the world.

Feel your five senses all being activated,

With the last sense being the opening of the eyes.

Carry that magic with you.

Create that magic and embark on a magical rest of your life.

Thank you for joining me.
