Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Feel the weight of your body sinking down into the earth,
Down into the surface beneath you.
Let your shoulders relax.
Let your jaw soften.
Your hands are resting gently at your sides or on your lap.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your heart,
Placing one hand or both hands over your chest where your heart lies and feel the gentle rhythm of your heartbeat.
And with each beat,
Imagine your heart opening,
Softening,
And creating a space of love and deep,
Deep connection.
Now,
Picture yourself in a place that feels peaceful and safe.
This could be one of your favorite spots in nature or a cozy room or a space from a cherished memory.
Let the details of this place come alive in your mind.
The sights,
What do you see?
Who's there?
Are you alone?
What's there?
The sounds,
What you hear.
Is there music?
Is there silence?
The smells,
What do you smell?
Is there cookies baking?
What do you smell?
Make it come alive in your mind's eye.
In this space,
Imagine a door that appears before you.
And intuitively,
You know that on the other side of this door,
Your loved one is waiting for you.
Take a moment to gently notice how you feel.
There's no need to rush.
Simply allow these feelings to arise.
And when you're ready,
Take a step towards the door.
With each step,
You feel a growing sense of warmth and love surrounding you.
Growing,
Growing,

More warm,
More warm.
And as you reach the door,
You gently open it.
And you see your loved one standing there.
Take this moment to simply be with them.
Notice their presence,
Their smile,
Their posture,
The energy that they bring.
You might see them as you remember them here on earth or as an essence of light and love.
However they appear is perfect.
Now allowing yourself to embrace them.
Maybe give them a hug,
However you'd like to greet them.
Feel their warmth,
Feel their love,
Their essence wrapping around you like a hug.
Allow yourself to feel this connection,
Knowing that they are with you in this moment.
If you'd like,
Speak to them now.
Share anything that's weighing on your heart,
Perhaps your love,
Your gratitude,
Perhaps words that you didn't get to say to them.
Say them now.
And then take a moment to listen.
Notice if they respond.
Their words might come as a feeling,
A thought,
Or simply a sense of understanding.

Spend some time here in their presence and let the connection fill you with comfort and peace.
If any emotions arise,
Allow them to flow freely.
There is no right or wrong way to feel.
Let yourself feel.

Let them know they are always a part of you.
And hear them say that back to you.

That you get to live for all of the days that your loved one cannot.
And bring them with you,
