This powerful practice invites you to step out of survival mode and into softness. It's for the parts of you that are tired of holding it all together. The ones that say, “I’m fine,” when you’re anything but. The ones that feel like falling apart isn't an option. Inside this audio, you’ll be guided to gently land in your body, loosen the grip of constant strength, and practice the deeply healing art of receiving. Through breath, touch, and presence, this session helps you connect with the quieter, more tender layers of your nervous system—the ones that long to be seen, felt, and held. Whether you’re carrying quiet grief, invisible overwhelm, or a lifetime of self-protection, this is a space where you don’t have to be okay to belong. Here, your emotions are not only allowed—they’re welcomed.

Welcome love,

This space is yours.

You don't have to hold it all right now.

You also don't have to figure anything out.

You don't even have to be strong.

Just for these next few moments,

Can you let your body release the role of holding everyone and everything.

Begin by finding a position that feels fully supported,

Whether that's lying down,

Propped up with pillows or a bolster,

Or leaning gently against something.

Let your body know,

It's okay for me to let go here.

Let the ground or the seat beneath you carry a little more of your weight to support you.

You don't have to earn rest.

You don't have to earn softness.

You already belong here.

And if any emotions begin to rise,

Tears,

Frustration,

Numbness,

Confusion,

As they tend to when we slow down,

When we listen,

Know that they are welcome here too.

This is a space where nothing needs to be fixed or changed ever.

You get to feel exactly what is present.

So begin to draw awareness to your breath.

Not changing it,

Just noticing.

Can you feel the body receiving the inhale?

And can you allow the exhale to do a little bit of the letting go?

Inhale,

Receive.

Exhale,

Release.

Inhale,

Take in.

Exhale,

Melt down.

If any emotion stirs or surfaces,

Let it.

There is no right or wrong way to feel.

Let it come in waves.

Let it move through you.

Let it be seen by you.

That's the biggest favor you can do for yourself.

Let your shoulders get heavier,

Your jaw softened,

Your eyes rest.

And if your body feels tense,

Agitated,

Resistant,

That's okay too.

That's just a signal that it's not used to receiving this kind of space.

Stay with it gently.

If it feels nourishing,

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.

And let this be a quiet reminder,

I'm here,

I'm okay.

I don't have to perform anything right now.

I don't have to be strong right now.

There's strength in my vulnerability.

There's strength in my emotions.

What would it feel like to be held,

Not just emotionally,

But physically?

Feel into the places where your body is being supported right now.

Perhaps your back on the ground or seat.

Your hands resting on your body,

The earth holding you.

You're not alone in this moment.

You're being met.

And as you feel that support,

Notice if any emotions start to rise.

Let them.

Let the body tell you what it needs.

Tears,

Tension,

Stillness,

A lump in the throat.

These are all messengers.

Now,

Gently begin to notice the thoughts or the roles that you've been playing,

That you've been carrying around lately.

Maybe it's,

I have to hold it all together for everyone else.

I have to be strong for everyone else.

I can't afford to fall apart.

If I feel this,

I won't come out of it.

Just notice what roles,

What have you been carrying.

And with each exhale,

Offer yourself a new truth.

Maybe that's,

I don't have to be the strong one right now.

I don't have to hold it all.

I get to feel what's here inside of me.

Repeat it slowly,

Gently.

I get to feel what's here.

Not fix,

Not solve,

Just feel.

And if grief,

Relief,

Sadness,

Or even peace arrives,

Just let it,

Let it.

You've been so conditioned to give,

To carry,

To show up for others.

But here,

In this body,

In this breath,

In this moment,

You are practicing something very different.

The art of receiving.

Receiving breath,

Receiving peace,

Stillness,

Receiving your own emotions without judgment.

So feel into the tenderness of this moment.

Let it be okay to cry.

Let it be okay to feel numb.

Let it be okay to feel anything.

You don't have to push it away.

You don't have to explain it.

You get to just be.

Begin to bring some gentle movement into the body.

Wiggling fingers or toes.

Maybe stretching or holding yourself in a little hug.

There's no rush.

And bring this truth with you.

You don't always have to be the strong one.

Your emotions are not too much.

Your softness is sacred.

Your rest is necessary.

Your body is your home and your truth lives here.

Remember that.

Thank you for letting yourself be held today.

You are already enough.

Until next time.
