This is a five-minute body scan.

A body scan is something that builds a relationship between you and your body.

I like to do a body scan throughout the day and it does create a sense of home within my body.

So just wherever you are you can be seated or standing up you can even be laying down it doesn't matter but wherever you are if you could just close down your eyes if that's comfortable for you and take a deep breath breathing in through your nose and opening your mouth and sighing it out and gently allow your awareness to move across your body from the top of your head all the way down to your feet I'm gonna call out some body parts along the way just allowing your awareness to drop inward as I call these body parts out top of the head back of the head eyes nose lips inside of the mouth back of the tongue back of the neck center of the throat clavicle shoulder blades shoulders elbows wrists back of the hands all of your fingertips palms of the hands forearms upper arms armpits heart space chest ribs waist pelvic bowl hips thighs knees calves ankles top of the feet tips of your toes the center of the bottom of your feet allow your awareness to simply wash over you like a waterfall is there any place that feels like it needs a little attention is there a place that's tight is there a place that your body is telling you something what does your body feel like right now if I were to ask you where is home in your body right now what would your body say do you feel energy within your body moving or does it feel stagnant or stuck anywhere just allow your awareness to flow freely over your body the front of your body the back of your body the right side of your body and the left side of your body how are you in this moment what do you need in this moment and slowly deepening your breath opening your mouth sighing it out two more times inhaling deep into your belly your ribs and your chest opening your mouth and sighing it out inhaling into your belly your ribs and your chest opening your mouth and allowing sound to come out as well if you feel called as you exhale and simply open your eyes I was a body scan to help you gain trust and relationship with your body I hope it helps you my friends thank you for coming along I'm Jocelyn namaste
