Take a moment to focus the mind, turn on your senses and become available to the magic that can only find you in the present moment. In this meditation you will clear your mind, set an intention and pick a sign for your day ahead. Prepare for a magical day in 5 minutes.

Today we're going to heighten our awareness and tune in even more deeply to the magic all around us.

So take a breath and just find yourself here in the present moment.

Let yourself really relax into the now.

Still the mind and just allow yourself to be.

There is so much information available to us at any given moment and it can be really easy to feel overwhelmed.

So today we're going to focus the mind and turn on our senses one at a time and really just heighten our sensitivity.

So on your next in-breath,

Focus entirely on your sense of hearing.

What can you hear in this moment?

What do you hear outside of you far off in the distance?

And what do you hear around you really close to you?

Maybe you hear your body making some sounds.

Next we're going to tune into our sense of smell.

So breathe in deeply through the nose and smell the quality of the air around you.

Just notice anything that you sense with your sense of smell.

Now tune into your feeling.

What do you feel with your hands at this moment?

Just notice any feeling of weight or temperature on your skin.

Maybe muscles that you're aware of.

Any place in your body or any sensations that are present for you.

Just feel the whole body as a field of sensation.

Next become aware of the darkness behind your closed eyelids.

See blackness.

Now open your eyes and see whatever is around you.

Feeling your eyes adjust to the light,

Color,

Form and shape all around you.

Now become aware of all your senses working in unison for you.

Smell,

Touch,

Sight,

Hearing.

You are a living breathing being with the ability to receive so much feedback from each one of your senses.

Now bring your awareness to your heart space in the center of your body and consider the question,

What would I like to receive today from the world around me?

Maybe you'd like to a specific sight,

A sign or a specific knowing.

This can be as specific or general as you like.

Set the intention inwardly to receive that from the world today.

Declare your faith in the world to offer you what it is you want to receive and declare your faith in yourself and your powers of perception to notice what is important.

Now on your next in-breath,

Deep breath in through the nose deep into the belly and a full release,

Releasing anything that you don't want to bring forward with you into the of your day.

Go about your day trusting that the earth will always provide for you in whatever way it needs to and when you open your eyes write down in your journal what you want to receive from the world today and now at the end of your day you're going to return to your intention and note what came up.
