Settling in to your body and just allowing all of those wayward thoughts to drift away.
Focusing your attention on the present moment,
Notice how your feet feel,
How your legs feel,
The pressure they might be placing on the surface beneath you.
Bring your awareness to your stomach region and just noticing if you're holding too much tension,
If your lower back feels tight.
Just doing all of this without placing judgement on anything,
Just merely training your consciousness to be here in the now,
Present with all of the feelings and the thoughts and the sensations present in your body.
As your awareness now sweeps up towards your chest,
Feeling the rise and fall of that.
Just noticing the space inside of your chest,
In the centre of your being,
How does it feel,
What sensations are present and then just noticing how your arms are feeling,
Where they're placed on your body or on the surface beneath you,
Feeling into any tightness or any other sensations and again just doing so without any judgement.
As now your awareness sweeps up to your face,
Letting go of any tension around your mouth and your jaw,
Up towards your eyes.
Until lastly,
You bring your awareness to the top of your head and just noticing the full sensation of your awareness sweeping over your entire body and any moment that thoughts try and creep in,
You just allow yourself the permission you need to come back to your centre,
To come back to your truth,
Come back to your body.
Any times feeling lost,
Just allowing your breathing to be that anchor,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Being in the present moment allows you to be the conscious creator of your reality.
When we are able to create a safety and frequency within our being that allows us the safety to be present at all times,
The life that you will create for yourself will be unlike anything you could ever imagine.
And that journey starts today.
That journey starts by giving yourself the attention you deserve,
Not the past version of you,
Not the future version of you,
The version of you right now.
And so I want you to ask yourself,
What do you need to give yourself today?
Allowing whatever answer it is to be your truth.
Now making a promise to yourself to give yourself the thing that you truly desire today,
Not the future you,
Not the past you,
The version of you today who is doing everything that they can.
Taking a nice deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,
Bringing your awareness back now,
Wriggling your fingers and your toes,
And very slowly you can start to open up your eyes and get back into your day.
