Welcome to the Path of Clarity Meditation.

Take a deep breath in and let it go slowly,

Settling into your place,

Relaxing into your body,

Inhaling deeply and exhaling fully,

Allowing your body to relax,

Every muscle,

Every organ,

Letting all of the stress drop away.

Imagine yourself standing on a single square,

The square is firm beneath your feet,

It represents this present moment where you are right now in your life,

Notice how it feels to be standing here,

Steady and supported,

Take a slow breath and allow yourself to feel anchored in this very moment in this place,

Now imagine that if you turn your head and look behind you,

You see many more squares stretching far out into the distance,

These squares represent moments of your past,

Some squares may be bright and joyful,

Reminding you of happy memories,

Celebrations and victories,

Other squares may appear darker,

Heavier,

Representing moments of challenge,

Grief or difficulty,

You may have stayed on some of the squares longer while others you passed through quickly,

Take a moment to notice some of the more significant squares on your path so far,

The milestones of your life,

Notice the lessons that they brought you,

How each one shaped the person you have become today,

How each of these moments led to where you stand right now,

How if you hadn't gone through these things,

You would not have arrived here as the person that you are right now,

Take a gentle breath,

Expressing gratitude for all that you have been through,

For the light,

For the shadow,

For every experience that has carried you here,

Now bring your awareness back to the square beneath your feet,

This is your present moment,

Notice how it feels to be here,

Right here,

Right now,

Between what has been and what is yet to come,

Take a few breaths here,

Allow yourself to feel centered and grounded,

Now look out at the path ahead of you,

You will see squares stretched out before you into the distance,

Notice that there isn't just one line of squares out in front of you,

One solid path to walk on,

There are forks in the path,

There are many paths,

These are places where choices will need to be made,

You might see certain milestones out in front of you,

Big dreams,

Goals and visions that you are moving toward,

Take a moment to notice what's there,

Notice the direction your current path is leading you down,

Look ahead to the closest milestone,

Notice if there are any choices that you need to make to reach it,

Imagine moving down the path ahead of you and arriving at that milestone,

How does it feel,

What energy does it carry,

Was it an easy path to get there or a challenging one,

Notice the choices that you will have to make to arrive at that next milestone,

Now gently return to the square that represents the present moment and ask yourself,

What is the next step that will carry me forward,

What is the very next move that I am ready to make,

Allow the answer to arise without effort,

It may come as a word,

An image or maybe just a feeling take a deep breath in,

Feeling gratitude for the journey behind you,

For the place where you stand right now and for the path that is laid out in front of you knowing that every square has a purpose,

Every move that you make brings growth,

Take another deep breath in and release it slowly sensing firmly the next step on your path,

Whenever you are ready,

Gently begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers,

Move your body from side to side bringing awareness back into the body,

Bringing yourself fully into the present moment and whenever you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying into your day a new sense of clarity and direction
