This guided meditation helps you embed the feelings of peace and stability into your body. With a mix of breath, nature elements, and somatic embodiment, you can start your day feeling grounded and clear. And when life starts getting chaotic, you can come back to the visualizations of how the Tree, the Earth, the Waterfall, and the Sun helped you feel at peace.

Welcome to this guided meditation to help you feel grounded,

Clear,

And energized at the end.

Let's start by finding a comfortable seated position where you feel supported and where when you're sitting your spine can be straight so that the energy can flow through your channels easier as we do this meditation.

Take some time to get situated and comfortable and you can fidget around as much as you want here at first and eventually settle into your space.

And once you settle into your space,

See if you can imagine that you are in this bubble and everything outside of the bubble for this moment falls away.

Nothing else matters.

It's just you and this moment in time.

And then we'll slowly start by noticing our shoulders and see if they can fall down away from the ears a little bit more.

Allow your tongue to fall away from the roof of the mouth and soften the eyes.

Now take a deep breath into the belly,

Feeling it expand and exhale out through the mouth.

Let's do that another time.

Inhale feeling your belly expand outward.

Exhale side out through the mouth.

And one more time,

Inhale and a sigh of air out of the mouth.

Belly button draws back toward the spine.

And after this third sigh out,

Go back to breathing in and out through the nose and allowing your body to just breathe itself.

Just take a moment to notice how your body feels after taking those three deep breaths and sighing it out.

Just a moment to notice.

And now visualize around your waist,

Around your hips,

The sides,

The front and back,

A tree trunk,

A really sturdy tree trunk.

And this tree trunk is going to grow down into the earth.

Inhale into your belly,

Exhale,

Allow the tree trunk to break past ground into the earth.

Inhale belly gently expands.

Exhale imagine the trunk growing a taproot,

Digging deeper into mother earth.

Inhale belly gently expands.

Exhale a taproot growing down toward the center of the earth.

Inhale,

Exhale visualize roots growing out wide in all directions.

Inhale belly expands.

Exhale roots growing down and out to the sides.

Feeling yourself really anchoring into mother earth.

And as your roots get anchored into the earth,

Can you feel the stability?

You feel the groundedness within your body?

And can you also feel mother earth holding you?

This even exchange of you grounding down into mother earth and also of mother earth lovingly holding you in place.

Let that grounded feeling sink into your body.

Let the feeling of stability and rootedness really absorb into your body.

Breathe into your belly and exhale out,

Imagining your trunk,

Your roots,

All of it in the earth.

Now visualize on the inhale this waterfall above you and you're standing right underneath it and crystal clear water pours down on the inhale over your head,

Over your body.

Cool clear water cleansing you from the outside.

And now feel yourself as this open channel and this waterfall,

This cool clear water on the inhale flowing through you,

Through your insides,

Cleansing you through.

Inhale water comes down and cleanses your whole aura inside and out.

Feeling clear,

Feeling clean,

Cleansed.

And now imagining this water seeping down into the earth,

Just trickling down.

And the water touches your roots as your roots also find the water.

And your roots start soaking up the water for nourishment.

Drinking up the water through your roots on the inhale and feeling it come up and through you to nourish every cell in your being.

Inhale feeling your roots soaking up the water,

Coming up through your trunk,

Nourishing your whole body.

And now when you exhale imagining branches growing out from the sides of you with bright green big leaves growing out of them.

Inhale soak up water through your body.

Exhale imagining leaves growing outwards.

And now imagine and feel the sun's beaming rays warm upon you.

The energy from the sun shining down on you and being soaked up through the leaves.

Notice yourself in the warm rays of the sun,

Bright white shining light and your leaves soaking up all that steady energy.

Letting that energy flow into your body and noticing how that feels to be able to soak up all this beautiful energy from the sun.

To be able to have your leaves,

Your whole being bask in this warm glory.

And now we thank the sun,

The water and the earth for providing us so much for our well-being,

For grounding us,

Cleansing us and nourishing us.

Take this feeling imprinted within you,

See if you can hold on to it for as long as you can throughout the day.

And when you notice that the feeling has disappeared,

Maybe there's too much going on and you just want to feel grounded again.

Stop for a minute and take a deep breath into your belly,

Long exhale out and come back to the image you have of the tree,

The roots,

The waterfall and the sun.

And see if your body can remember what that felt like.

Or simply come back to this meditation.
