Hi,
Darling.
I'd like to invite you to take a seat or you could even lie down somewhere,
Although preferably if you're not too tired,
Please be seated.
I think this meditation will work better.
Seated in an upright position.
You can lean against something.
But again preferably be seated in an upright position within your own balance.
That is the king's position.
The king's position or the The Queen's position,
The sovereign position is really that of one who leans in their own core and their own center and that is what this meditation is all about.
Be seated beautifully within your own center if it's not possible for you that's also okay lean back make it as comfortable for yourself as possible I will be assuming that you are seated and I will invite you to bring your awareness to your sitting bones.
Feel into how your bum,
How your sitting bones are touching the surface below you.
Is there a difference between your left side and your right side.
You don't need to adjust anything it is perfectly fine if there is a A difference,
If there isn't,
That's also fine.
Let's zoom in to the left side.
How does it feel?
Could you feel a temperature?
When standing up,
A print would be left on the surface,
As if you would be seated on a piece of paper.
What color would the print be of your left side?
Now we're going to the right side.
How does that feel?
What temperature does it feel like?
Is it warm,
Cold?
Somewhere in between It is also okay if you don't really have an answer to that.
Now for your right side,
What color would the print be?
Could you with the next inhalation?
Feel as if you're going to sit upright a little bit more and then with the exhalation you settle in completely and surrender to your sitting bones as if you give yourself a little extra weight.
Let yourself be carried by the surface below you.
You're doing a great job.
This is landing in your body.
Welcome.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Changes in your breathing.
Has there been a change?
Can you feel a settling in,
A relaxation within your body?
If you can't,
That's also okay.
Become aware of that There is no goal within this meditation.
There is nothing you can achieve.
The fact that you're sitting here and listening to this,
That's the goal,
That's all there is to it.
There is actually not really a goal to meditation.
It's the same with dancing.
Why do we dance for the purpose of dancing?
It doesn't have to look beautiful.
It doesn't have to be.
In a specific way.
We dance just to move our body.
We meditate.
For the purpose of meditation.
For the purpose of taking a moment of sitting still and not allowing any extra input or output.
The only input you might receive at the moment is my voice,
My voice guiding you.
To your sitting bones.
To your breathing.
So where in your body is your breathing?
Can you feel it in your nose?
And now.
.
.
Your throat.
Maybe on your chest.
Plexus,
Your belly.
Maybe your lower belly,
Maybe you can even feel it near your genitals The breath moves through our body,
Obviously it only moves towards our lungs but we can feel sometimes the expansion for whole body.
You feel that.
Now I'd like to invite you to imagine in a way if it feels comfortable for you that you are a bit like an octopus.
And you have tentacles,
You have lots and lots of tentacles and they reach to all sorts of things around you.
Different people.
Maybe.
.
.
Children or parents,
Maybe your partner,
Maybe something your co-worker said at work.
Maybe a task that is left undone,
Maybe groceries,
The car,
The house,
Tasks all over the place.
Your tentacles reach all sorts of people,
Can also be people who are no longer with us,
Tentacles reaching to energy somewhere around us,
To tasks undone,
Things from yesterday,
Things from tomorrow.
Your tentacles reach all over the place,
Through time,
Through space.
Now I want to invite you with each inhalation.
You.
Let go of the grasp of a tentacle onto something or someone.
You let go and you bring your arm,
Your tentacle with the exhalation.
Close to your body.
Can you see that octopus closing its tentacles below its body?
Now we're going to do the same,
So with an inhalation.
Let it go.
Exhalation you bring it close to your body and you feel into your belly.
Inhale,
You let go of the grasp,
You pull back the tentacle,
You exhale and bring it close to your body.
Imagine that.
Breathe on your own pace.
And just continue,
Continue imagining how every tentacle is letting go of the attachment to people and tasks around us.
It pulls back,
You pull it back towards yourself,
Close to your body.
Ahhhhhh.
Feel how you can let go of everyone and everything and There's no need to worry,
The tasks and the people will remain where they are and if it's necessary you can go back to them after.
This meditation of or after.
This moment wherever you are in time and space.
You pull back.
You bring it close to your body.
And now is the time for the last few tentacles to let go.
You bring them in.
Oh,
There's one more.
There's one more left.
It's very challenging.
Very kindly and gently.
You Peel away the grip,
The attachment of that one tentacle.
And you bring it back close to your body.
Exhale.
And all your tentacles,
All your attention is now close with you Can you feel that?
You feel how you are seated how your bum is touching the surface below you.
If that feels good to you,
You can even bring your arms really close to you as if you would be maybe hugging yourself or you put your arms on your shoulders like in a cross way,
Your left hand on your right shoulder and your right hand on your left shoulder.
You feel how everything,
All the attention,
Everything is close to you.
Breathe there for a second.
You are doing mighty fine,
However it is going for you,
Whatever you feel right now.
It is welcome Maybe you feel deeply relaxed.
But maybe you feel a little bit anxious of letting go of all these things and that's okay.
The important thing is that you are right now trying,
Practicing the letting go and the bringing your awareness close to yourself.
Towards your own center.
With the next exhalation,
Try to surrender your weight to your sitting bones,
To the surface below you.
Just feel for a moment how you are seated here.
Where your breath is.
Where your awareness is.
We're going to breathe together for three times,
And then I will.
.
.
Invite you to gently come back to the reality that you are in right now.
We're going to start with an exhalation.
You let go of everything,
You press,
You push it out,
You press out all the leftover energy and inhale.
And exhale.
A little bit more,
Squeeze it out and inhale.
Exhale One last time,
Inhale.
And now let your breath flow freely.
You've got this.
Now you can let your arms.
Do whatever they like maybe you want to move your fingers a little bit maybe you want to stretch a little bit stretch your your back maybe completely stretch out And then when you are ready,
If you had your eyes closed,
This is a moment to open them again and slowly arrive back at where you are.
Just for a moment here Can you still feel that sensation,
What it feels like if you bring your complete awareness close to yourself?
You have your eyes open now.
You can see the things around you.
Maybe with a little bit more of a detachment,
Your attention,
Your awareness is a little bit closer to your center.
You did brilliantly.
I love you,
Darling.
