There is a subtle habit of hovering,
Of holding yourself up,
Just in case.
Even when nothing is unstable,
The body prepares.
This practice is an invitation.
Notice the ground beneath you,
Not conceptually,
Physically.
Notice how it holds without effort,
Without instruction.
You don't need to lean into it.
You don't need to surrender.
Just notice that it's already there.
When support is recognized,
Tension reorganizes,
Muscles release,
Breath deepens on its own.
Nothing drops,
Nothing disappears.
Trust doesn't arrive as certainty.
It arrives as familiarity.
Some days this trust will feel stabilizing.
Other days,
Subtle and quiet.
Both are expressions of grounding.
The goal is not belief.
The goal is relationship.
A relationship with support that doesn't require effort to maintain.
As you continue through your day,
Remember this.
You don't need to hold yourself up when the ground is already holding you.
And noticing that is enough.
