Welcome to Cultivating Gratitude.
Today we are going to focus on creating images,
Viewing old memories that bring peace and joy to our lives.
I will be leaving quiet space to integrate those concepts,
Feelings,
And images.
I'm not going anywhere.
I will return promptly with a new idea,
New visual,
And I will definitely let you know when the meditation period has finished.
So make yourself at home,
Get nice and comfy,
And go ahead and lower those eyelids.
Take a nice inhale.
Slow exhale.
And allow the body to relax.
To soften into the moment.
And join me for our journey.
Walking barefoot on the bare earth.
The earth perfectly awakening my being to the moment.
Being called towards moving water.
Hearing the rush.
Of the water falling over stones.
The coolness that I feel as I get closer and closer to this clear river.
The stark iciness of the water.
Shocking my system into knowing nothing but this moment.
The light captured in the wings of the dragonfly that catches my eye.
The freedom of the birds overhead.
The peace that I feel when the breeze rolls through.
Moving my hair.
COOLING the heat that the sun is providing.
The soothing whisper of the wind rustling the leaves.
The barket on the trees being different for each different tree.
The grounding colors of the stones beneath my feet.
They're different shapes.
Some of them.
Bringing comfort and inspiration to their unique design.
The pounding of my heart as I become more awake.
More alive in this moment.
The perfection.
Of them.
Perfect day to have the windows down.
The wind blowing in the car,
Drying off my sweat.
From this busy the joy and the peace.
Of knowing.
That I have fulfilled my life purpose of just feeling joy.
The sun peeking behind the clouds as it lowers towards the horizon.
The song.
The perfect song playing.
In the car.
The colors of the sky.
The joy of noticing all the life around me,
All these different people and all their different cars and all their different houses living their lives and me feeling so alive right now.
The relief of crossing the threshold.
To the place that I stay.
Knowing that fresh and clean is right around the corner.
The perfection.
Of a shower.
At the end of a long,
Joyful day.
The floral,
The herbal,
The earthy scents of the shampoo,
Of the soap.
The absolute closeness.
Of my comfort at home clothes.
The joy of being tucked into sleep.
The moon shining in through the window.
The staggered colors.
That are on the clouds in the sky.
The soft coolness of the pillow beneath my head.
The hands that tug beneath my chin at night.
And rub the sleep from my eyes in the morning.
These hands.
That bring nourishment from the food that I eat to my body.
These hands that allow me to meet someone.
That will be a really great friend one day.
In that same friend whose tears I wipe from their face with these hands.
These hands that open the door to opportunities.
These hands that let go.
Of the challenges I no longer wish to face.
These legs that have known the joys of movement.
These legs that take me to all of the wonderful places that I want to go.
That allow me to go to the places.
That I need to be.
These ears.
That know the sound of laughter from my loved ones.
The vast emotional experience of hearing all kinds of music.
From anywhere in the world.
These ears that hear stories that lead to my inspiration from my stuck places.
Reminding me.
That movement.
Brings me life.
That appreciation is the key.
These eyes.
That know the depths.
Of the people that I love most.
That know the joy.
Of seeing life flourishing in nature,
The changes of the seasons throughout time.
The vastness of color and the different combinations that it has.
The pain and the joy.
In the people whose paths I cross.
This very moment.
Where I have chosen.
To cultivate joy,
Gratitude,
Passion,
Excitement.
Where I have chosen.
To grow.
By just being right here.
Right now.
What are you grateful for today?
Bring yourself back to the body.
Take a nice big inhale.
Signing out.
Wiggle those fingers and toes.
Blink those eyes open.
And carry this gratitude forward in your day,
Your love.
And enjoy the rest of this experience.
Thank you.
