Hi and welcome to today's meditation,
Phase 8,
Commitment.
I am willing to do the work.
In this meditation,
The focus is on self-ownership.
Ownership of your healing process and your healing journey.
I'm going to invite you to just take a couple of deep breaths in to settle into this space and this time,
This moment.
Breathing out gently through your mouth.
Allowing yourself to land in this space.
Close your eyes and bring to mind a promise that you once made to yourself.
Maybe it was a promise of stopping.
Maybe it was about changing.
Did you keep that promise?
If not,
Why?
What happened?
Reflect on that,
But not from a place of shame,
But from a place of desiring deep understanding.
Imagine yourself standing before a contract.
Not one of rules and regulations,
But one of personal commitment.
On this contract is your name.
It's written in bold letters.
You're not committing to be perfect.
You're not committing to never struggle.
But you are committing to doing the work.
Take a deep breath in.
Feel the weight of that promise.
Sense where it lands in your body.
How does your body respond to that?
A contract of personal commitment.
You're choosing integrity over compulsion.
Now in your mind,
Sign your name to your contract.
Feel the shift in energy.
This is not about obligation,
But it's about choice.
About stepping into who you are meant to be.
Breathe in your commitment.
Allow it to fill your lungs,
Fill your body,
Fill your chest cavity.
Hold it in your heart.
And as you go throughout the day,
Reflect.
What is one action that I can take to honor this promise?
To honor this commitment.
To enforce my contract.
My personal commitment contract.
And allow that just to settle in.
And just take a couple of transitionary breaths in.
And let it out slowly.
