Hello and welcome to another little moment of meditation.
This little one is all about surrender.
So maybe you're going to close your eyes and maybe you're just listening to this as you go about your day,
But let's all take a really nice breath together.
So breathing in,
Pause for a moment and then breathing out.
I'm going to do that two more times.
So breathing in,
In a little pause,
When you're ready breathing out.
So last time breathing in,
Really feeling the lungs,
Holding at the top,
I'm going to sign it all out,
Letting it all go and then feel free to let the breath just return back to its natural rhythm or you might choose to carry on breathing in that way if it feels good,
If it's serving you right now.
And I'm going to read something to you as I always do on these little moments of meditation.
It's called surrender.
It's okay to lay down in total surrender,
Knowing that no matter what happens,
You are not alone in any of this.
There is no worry too big where the light will not find you and come rushing in.
Through changing things and opening doors,
There is still room for you to step into each day,
Believing in the soul that there is a way to live,
A way to grow and a way to be.
One day you'll look back and be glad that you kept on going,
Even without knowing how everything would turn out.
You will be glad that you rose above the doubt.
You will be glad that you did not give up and you will be glad that you chose to give it your all,
Because it's okay to lay down in total surrender,
Knowing that no matter what happens,
You are not alone in any of this.
You might even choose to close your eyes just for a second or two,
Just really letting the words kind of flow through you,
Around you,
Maybe noticing any emotions that might have risen in the body or any thoughts in the mind.
Just see if you can let yourself just observe them,
Just notice them.
You don't need to judge them or analyze them.
Just using this as an opportunity to just be present with whatever is or isn't showing up.
Maybe there's something you can surrender a little deeper to today.
Maybe there's something you've been clinging tightly onto because your mind has told you that's what you need to do to make everything okay.
But maybe,
Just maybe,
You could start to release your grip just finger by finger.
Maybe you could let go altogether.
Maybe you can just surrender to a power greater than you.
Maybe you can surrender it to love,
To the universe,
Because maybe it's the holding on so tightly that's causing the pain and the resistance.
Almost just feeling how it would feel to just surrender and let go in the body.
Maybe a lot like an exhale.
And then let's take the deepest inhale so far.
Again,
Pausing for as long as it feels good.
And then sighing it all the way out.
And if your eyes will close,
Maybe just blinking them open.
And I wish you a beautiful rest of day.
Maybe we can all surrender a little deeper today and maybe just see how that improves our lives.
