Hello.

This is a guided meditation designed to awaken your creativity and connect you with the emotional and energetic qualities of colour.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position and gently closing your eyes.

Take a gentle breath in and a slow breath out.

One more time,

Steady breath in and a long exhale to release.

Begin to imagine that you're standing in a quiet,

Peaceful room.

The walls are pure white,

Clean,

Bright and untouched.

The room feels calm and still,

Like a blank canvas full of possibility.

In front of you are seven large pots of paint,

Each a vibrant colour of the rainbow.

You notice soft brushes,

Sponges and even space to use your hands or your feet if you wish.

There are no rules here,

Only freedom,

Expression and feeling.

This is your space to create and explore.

There's no right or wrong way to paint.

You can be playful,

Messy,

Expressive or precise.

This is your space to feel,

Explore and let go.

So let's begin.

Find the pot of red paint,

Feel its warmth and its strength.

Maybe you dip a brush into it or plunge your hand in,

Splashing it boldly onto the wall.

Red is the colour of energy,

Of passion and courage.

As you paint,

Feel that fiery strength rising in you.

Your feet feel rooted,

Your body feels alive.

You are confident,

Grounded,

Powerful.

Now take a grounding breath in and a slow relief out.

Next,

Turn to the orange pot,

A juicy,

Joyful colour.

Perhaps you flick it across the wall like a burst of laughter or smear it playfully with your fingers.

Orange is the colour of creativity,

Of joy and emotional warmth.

As it touches the walls,

Feel a gentle lightness arise within you,

A playful spark in your belly.

Maybe you feel inspired or open or glowing.

Enjoy this orange colour.

Now take a warming breath in and a slow release out.

Now choose the yellow,

Sunshine in liquid form.

Maybe sponge it gently across the wall or swirl it in bright spirals.

Yellow brings clarity,

Happiness and personal power.

So as you paint,

Notice a warmth blooming in your centre,

In your solar plexus.

Maybe you feel light or confident or maybe more clear-headed.

Maybe it makes you want to smile.

Enjoy using this yellow colour with all the freedom you desire.

Now take a confident breath in and a slow release out.

Moving on to the green pot,

Fresh,

Soothing,

Full of life.

Maybe stroke it across the wall in long,

Calming lines.

Or press palm prints into it like growing leaves.

Green is a colour of balance,

Of healing and of love.

Maybe as you paint,

Feel your heart expand.

You are calm,

Connected and peaceful.

In this moment,

All is well.

So take a loving breath in and a slow release out.

Now comes the cool,

Tranquil blue.

You might use wide brushes to sweep it across the wall like waves or gently let it drip like raindrops.

Blue brings truth,

Calm and clear expression.

As you paint,

Feel your throat soften as though your voice is becoming unblocked.

You can speak your truth with ease.

You are peaceful,

You are steady,

Just like the ocean.

So take a calming breath in and a slow release out.

Next comes the deep and mysterious indigo.

Maybe you flick it into galaxies or draw spirals with your fingertips.

Indigo is the colour of intention,

Inner wisdom and imagination.

As you paint,

Notice a gentle awareness behind your eyes.

Trusting your inner guidance,

You are quiet and wise.

So take an intuitive breath in and a slow release out.

Finally you come to violet,

Soft,

Spiritual and shimmering.

Perhaps you paint it with gentle circles or simply let it float around the space.

Violet brings spiritual connection,

Wholeness and peace.

As you paint,

You feel a sense of oneness,

A connection to something greater yet deeply within.

So take a peaceful breath in and a slow release out.

Now take a moment to stand back and see the room transformed.

A once blank space,

Now alive with colour and feeling.

Each colour is part of you,

Each quality lives within you.

You are grounded,

Joyful,

Confident.

You are loving,

Expressive,

Intuitive and you are connected.

So let this rainbow room remain in your mind.

A place you can return to whenever you need.

Now begin to deepen your breath.

Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.

And when you are ready,

Slowly opening your eyes.

Taking this joyful feeling with you for the rest of your day.
