This musing offers a quiet reflection on the pressure to move quickly and the tenderness of being in between. It invites listeners to consider becoming as a gradual, unfolding process rather than something to complete or resolve. The tone is slow and companionable, with space for pauses and personal reflection. This track is for moments when clarity feels distant and gentleness feels needed.

Hi.

I'm going to take a moment to arrive here,

And I welcome you to do the same.

Lately,

I've been thinking about how much pressure there is to become something quickly.

To figure it out.

To be clear.

To move on the next version of ourselves.

And what I notice in myself and how often that pressure pulls me out of the present moment.

As if who I am right now is just the placeholder for who I'm supposed to be later.

But there's something very tender about this in-between space.

The season of not knowing exactly what's next.

Of listening more than declaring.

Of letting things take shape slowly.

Sometimes I think about how much of nature exists in this way.

How a tree doesn't hurry its leaves into being.

How roots grow quietly underground long before anything visible above the surface.

There's so much happening that we never see.

And none of it is wasted time.

I'm learning and relearning that becoming isn't something to rush.

It's something to accompany.

To stay with.

To treat with care.

If you're in a season where things feel unfinished or unclear,

I hope you know that this doesn't mean you're behind.

It might mean you're right on time and right where you need to be.

If this resonates,

You're not alone in it.

Thank you for being here with me.
