Today I'm going to be guiding you in a brief meditation to bring you back to your center.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Close them slowly,
Letting the world soften around the edges.
And then take one slow breath in through your nose.
And exhale,
Gently through your mouth.
And again,
Inhale,
Receiving yourself.
And exhale,
Releasing the noise,
Releasing the chaos of the day.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Feel how the Earth is holding your weight without effort.
You do not have to perform here.
You simply have to be.
And breathe.
Feel the surface beneath you.
And bring your awareness to the center of your chest.
Not the surface,
Just slightly beneath it.
There is a quiet point there.
A golden point.
Imagine now that there is a fine golden thread descending from above your crown,
Moving slowly down your throat,
Into your heart.
And anchoring gently into your lower belly,
Your dantian.
Heaven and Earth are meeting inside you.
Your mind may wander.
That is natural.
As it does,
Simply return to the thread.
Return to your breath.
Return to the steady warmth in your core.
Inhale,
Lengthening through your spine.
And exhale,
Softening your shoulders and your jaw.
Feel your feet.
Feel your hands.
Feel that welcoming embrace of your body.
You are home.
You are not behind.
You are not ahead.
You are right where you need to be.
In this moment,
Take one final deep breath in.
And come back to the light of the day.
Centered.
Sovereign.
Fully present in the moment.
