Sometimes we retain some resistance to letting go of things that are bothering us or that we have been holding on to for such a long time that we have forgotten we are still holding on to it. This meditation uses focused visualization to create an environment that allows you to effortlessly let go of stress, frustration, resistance, slight aches and pains, judgments, feelings, or anything else that might be interfering with your ability to experience joy. A moderate length of about 20 minutes, you will learn a process you can take with you and do anywhere in just a few moments. I hope you enjoy the presentation and the results you will experience. This is a letting go meditation.

This meditation helps us to let go of things that are easy and things that are not so easy.

This meditation,

It's a good idea to lay down in a comfortable position so you can fully relax.

When you're ready,

Take a few relaxed deep breaths from your lower abdomen area all the way up to your chest area and upon each exhale feel yourself creating a deeper connection to your inner self,

Your physical body,

And the environment surrounding you.

Try not to fight any external noises or don't even try to ignore them.

Instead,

Just invite them in as part of your experience and do the same with your thoughts.

It's not necessary to resist them.

Just welcome them and let them be as they are for right now.

Acknowledging them and thanking them for being part of your meditation.

Now allow yourself to be completely comfortable.

With everything just the way it is right now.

Take a long slow breath and find yourself a bit more centered,

A bit more relaxed,

A bit,

You might even feel your body getting just a little bit heavier.

So just relax anything that wants to relax.

Now imagine a luminescent sparkling lavender and golden light hovering just an inch or two above your entire body.

This light is endless in every direction and it's about an inch or two in thickness.

This light is full of healing energy and this energy is pure oneness and love.

Gently and slowly raise your hands and place them through this lavender and golden light.

And feel its warmth.

And feel the tingling healing energy.

Feel the energy coming over your hands.

And feel how it gently tingles and warms your hands.

Feel how this loving energy completely passes through your hands.

Let your hands come back down to your side and relax.

And feel this loving energy start to spread up your hands into your arms.

Relaxing your arms and filling them with this energized lavender and gold light of love.

Let this light spread to your shoulders and up your neck and around your head.

This energy is spreading down your back and through your chest.

Completely covering your entire torso.

This light is irresistible and drifts down through your hips,

Down your legs,

Down to your feet,

And up through your toes.

You are now completely enveloped in this loving,

Healing,

Energized lavender and golden light.

Your body feels very relaxed and warm and cozy.

Feel the heaviness of your body and the lightness of your spirit.

And your mind is very aware.

Just relax and breathe gently without trying to control your breath.

Just let go of any need to control your breath.

Or anything else just for the time being.

Let go of all the muscles you might be trying to control.

Your body instinctively knows what to do.

So just go ahead and let it.

Just relax and let go.

Become aware of any thoughts that are joining your meditation.

You may notice these thoughts in different areas of your body.

Let's create a pathway for the thoughts to go up and into this lavender and gold light.

Any pathway is fine through any part of your body.

But try and make sure that you're able to see your thoughts go up into this light.

And as they enter into the light,

As they enter into the light,

Just let them dissolve into it.

Allowing this light to fully consume them.

This light does not reject anything.

It welcomes any and all thoughts you give it.

And releases you from their power over you.

If you have any kind of stress or fears,

Simply create a pathway for those to go up into the light.

Just let them go up into the light.

See them as they pass into the lavender gold light and disappearing through it.

As each thought and each fear passes through the light,

You feel lighter and lighter.

Your body feels more connected to where you are.

Your body feels more nimble and more flexible.

What thoughts are coming up for you now?

Whatever they are,

Thank them and acknowledge them and send them into the light.

Into the light.

Become aware that you as a being are separate from your thoughts.

And you can actually control the direction they are going.

Right up into the lavender gold light.

This path is effortless and easy.

It actually becomes fun to create these pathways for your thoughts to go up into the light.

And to just let them all go.

If there is anything in your life that is presently frustrating you,

First thank it.

Welcome it into this meditation.

And then create a pathway for it up into the light.

And let it float up into the light and dissolve.

Remember that all our thoughts effortlessly pass up into the special light.

One thought is just as easy as another.

All of our thoughts have a purpose.

Even if that purpose is for us to practice letting them go.

It doesn't matter what the frustration is.

Just let it go.

At this moment it has no power over you.

And the lavender light is taking it all up and away from you.

And healing it effortlessly.

If there is anything that makes you feel inadequate,

You simply become aware that it is just a judgment you have determined.

That's all.

But you know differently now.

And you can welcome it into this meditation.

And create a pathway for it up into the light.

If you have any pain or discomfort in your body,

Notice where it's located.

And go ahead and create a pathway directly from that area of discomfort up into the lavender light.

Quickly and distinctly feel the comfort leaving your body and letting the lavender gold light watch over you.

Now let's just relax here in peace.

This is a safe space.

You enjoy all the sensations of your body.

And you realize that you are not alone.

And you realize that your body loves you as much as you love it.

You realize you cannot have one without the other.

You realize that your body relentlessly does everything it can to keep you safe and healthy.

And heal all of its wounds and strengthen all of its muscles.

You realize that the only thing your body wants for you is your joyful survival.

It also wants to give you everything you need to do everything you want to do effortlessly.

Your body is on your side.

Because your body knows you are on its side.

And that from now on you will do everything you can to nourish and enrich your body.

So your body can continue to be here for you.

Now just let go.

Let go of any concerns you may have about taking care of your body.

Those are all old thoughts and fears.

Just send them on their path up into the lavender.

Remember that you are now in charge of your thoughts.

You are able to easily and effortlessly recognize them as useful or not.

And send them away when not needed.

You are in charge and can let go of any thought at any time.

Letting go is an art.

It's a dance.

And you have learned the dance steps.

You've learned the flow of movements.

You have learned to create a pathway and send your thoughts into it and dissolve.

Remember that no action is ever without a response.

And the response you consistently receive from letting go is love and peace and serenity.

A heart filled with joy and a spirit charged with love.

Now just sit in quiet for a few minutes.

Remember what to do with your thoughts as they enter this meditation.

Welcome them and thank them.

Then create a pathway into the light for them to permanently dissolve.

Remember that you can take this practice with you anywhere,

Anytime.

And at any time you can easily let go of anything you choose to.

You can now decide to either awaken to full refreshed awareness.

Or you can drift into a deep and sound sleep.
