Good morning.
Good evening,
Good afternoon.
Wherever you may be,
Whatever you may be doing,
And we'll start this practice by.
.
.
Slowing everything down.
Take a deep breath in,
We'll fill the lungs.
And we'll exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension,
Allowing self to soften,
To slow.
So we'll set initially that intention.
As few magic words that you can use throughout your day.
Especially when things start to get frantic and hectic and simply say.
.
.
Slow down.
Just say that to yourself now.
Slow down.
And as you do that,
Take a deep breath in.
And a long gentle exhale.
Release any tension.
Roll your neck,
Roll your shoulders if need be.
Inhale again.
And a long exhale.
Really release all the air from your stomach.
Me lungs,
Stomach.
Allow yourself to soften.
To slow down.
Now we're going to take two deliberate breaths.
On the second deliberate breath,
On the neck,
On the second exhale,
We'll gently close our eyes and drop into the practice.
So we'll inhale through the nose,
Hold it at the top,
Exhale through the mouth.
And on the second exhale,
We'll gently close our eyes.
So inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth As you do that,
Gently close your eyes.
Let's begin.
So with your eyes closed.
.
.
Take some time to.
.
.
Bring on board.
These words to truly absorb them,
To hear them,
To feel them,
To understand them.
Connect with them.
You can choose to listen and to connect as I say them out.
Or you can choose.
.
.
To repeat them.
Gently to yourself as I go through them.
Let's start.
I release the weight of the week.
Letting go of moments that no longer serve me.
I welcome the calm of the weekend.
Inviting peace.
Inviting relaxation.
I am here.
Fully present.
Open to rest.
Renewal.
And the quiet joy of this moment.
Are sad and full.
I release the weight of the weak.
Letting go of moments that no longer serve me.
I welcome the calm of the weekend.
Inviting peace.
Inviting relaxation.
I am here.
Fully present,
Open to rest,
Renewal and the quiet joy.
Of this moment.
And with that,
Take a deep breath in,
And then we're going to sigh it out.
Allow your breath to ground you.
Steady you in the container.
Container of this calm presence.
Gently place one hand on your heart and the other on your gut.
Feel the rhythm of your breath as you affirm.
I am here.
I am now.
I am present.
Repeat this gently and silently.
To yourself as your breath further anchors you into this moment.
When you inhale,
Inhale fully.
Inhale deeply.
And exhale fully.
Feel that rhythm.
Arise and fall of your chest.
The warm air passing.
Out your nose or your mouth.
Always just using the anchoring mantra.
I am here I am now.
I am present.
Now.
Still with that physical connection.
That circuit of energy flowing from your heart,
Through your arms,
Through your body,
Into your gut.
Up through your body back into your heart.
Continuing that cycle.
With that cycle intact,
I want you to take a moment now to reflect on the week that has passed,
Not in detail,
Not in specificity.
But acknowledge your efforts.
Accomplishments,
The challenges you overcome.
Nothing specific.
Just the collective.
All that you tried that you accomplished,
All that you overcame.
And I want you to physically thank yourself,
Say it to yourself now Use your name.
Thank you,
Terry.
Thank yourself for showing up.
Contributing.
For doing the best you could.
The time.
Acknowledge the times that you put yourself first.
Times that your authentic self was put first.
Time when you acknowledged your ego.
Accepted it and gave it space.
To show you.
Where you need it to look at.
For the connections that you made.
Or the connections that you lost.
Simply thank yourself.
And be grateful for remaining anchored.
And present.
Anchored and present in self.
Now just simply choose three things that you are grateful for this week.
And all I ask is that one of them be.
Difficult moment that you had.
Regardless of the outcome.
Just be grateful.
For the opportunity that that moment has given you.
Now as we transition I'll take a further deep breath in.
And a long exhale.
What I'd like you to do now is see yourself standing.
In front of a door.
Any do.
Could be a door to your room.
To your apartment,
Your house.
Family member's house,
One that just comes to mind right now.
See that door in front of you.
The color of it,
The texture.
Doors closed.
Is a handle on it.
This door symbolizes the transition from your work.
Weak.
To your weekend.
Really allow yourself to connect to it.
Physically feel all that you have from this week Feel the weight of it.
What we're going to do is we're going to transition from that week.
The energy,
The weight of it.
And as we pass through that door,
I want you to release it all.
Or use our breath to help us on that.
So we'll take a deep breath in.
When I say,
We'll take a deep breath in.
And hold it at the top.
Grab the door handle,
Walk through and exhale and release the weak.
You Take a deep breath in and hold it at the top.
In your mind's eye see yourself placing your hand on the door handle push open the door,
Walk in,
Exhale.
And allow the weight of the week to drop off.
Leave behind the tension of the week.
Gently close the door behind you.
And feel that weight melt away.
Brace the piece on the other side of the door.
Allow the lightness.
Allow yourself to get lighter with every breath.
Continue to inhale deeply and exhale fully.
Let's sit just for a moment and breathe.
And allow any remaining tension to just melt away.
Now let's affirm this transition.
With four affirmations,
I'll repeat them once.
Repeat them gently after me.
I welcome the weekend with openness.
I leave the week behind with gratitude.
I embrace this time to rest.
And restore.
I am ready.
To relax.
Allow each word to deepen your sense of calm.
Of peace.
Feel the warm,
Comforting energy.
Beckons in the weekend,
Allowed to wrap around you,
Renew and restore you.
Take a deep breath in.
And a slow,
Long,
Gentle exhale.
And affirm once more.
The Centering Mantra.
I am here.
I am now.
I am present.
I am here.
I am now.
I am present.
Gently continue to repeat that to yourself.
Take a few moments as you do so to savor this feeling.
Knowing you can step fully into rest.
I am here.
I am now.
I am present.
And as we end this practice,
Who ended with a single sentence.
Say this out loud to yourself.
I'm ready to embrace this weekend.
And with that.
We'll close the practice as we began the practice by taking a deep breath in and exhaling.
We'll do that twice.
And on the second exhale,
We'll gently open our eyes.
Stay part of the container of the practice and bring ourselves back.
So inhale through the nose.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale gently open your eyes Roll your neck,
Roll your shoulders.
Shake your fingers,
Shake your body.
Sigh.
I hope you carry this.
What I hope you have,
Which is a calm feeling into your weekend,
For those of you into your Friday.
And allow yourself to enjoy that Saturday,
That Sunday fully.
Thank you very much,
Everybody.
Deep bows to you all.
Have a restful weekend Friday.
Weekend.
And I hope to see you all soon.
