Grounding Meditation.
Take a gentle breath in and slowly exhale.
Allow your eyes to soften,
Your shoulders to release and your whole body to settle into this present moment.
Pause wherever you are.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body.
Feel the quiet invitation to come home to yourself,
To your breath,
To your inner stability.
Take another slow breath in and let everything that you've been carrying flow out on the exhale.
Pause.
Now gently bring your awareness to your feet.
Imagine roots,
Strong,
Golden,
Luminous,
Growing from the bottom of your feet,
Moving down into the earth,
Deeper and deeper,
Through the soil,
Through the layers of the earth,
All the way to the steady solid core of the planet.
Feel these roots anchoring you,
Supporting you,
Grounding you in strength,
Calm and stability.
Pause.
With each breath let the earth steady presence rise up through your roots like a warm current of peace.
Allow it to move into your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your spine,
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Your throat,
Your face,
In the crown of your head.
Your whole body is now held,
Connected and grounded.
Pause.
Notice how your breath feels now.
Slow,
Steady,
Unhurried.
You're safe,
You're supported,
You're here.
Now bring your attention to your heart.
Feel a soft warm light glowing there.
Let that light expand gently,
Filling your chest,
Your entire upper body and radiating outward into your energy field.
This light reminds you,
You belong,
You're guided,
You're grounded in who you truly are.
Pause.
Take a slow breath in and imagine drawing in clarity,
Calm and presence.
Exhale fully,
Releasing anything that doesn't serve you in this moment.
Again,
Inhale grounding energy,
Exhale tension,
Pause.
Now silently or softly repeat,
I'm centered,
I'm rooted,
I'm connected to the earth,
I'm steady in my being.
Let these words settle into your heart.
Pause.
When you're ready,
Deepen your breath.
Gently bring awareness back into the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and allow your eyes to open,
Grounded,
Centered and fully present.
Take one final breath of gratitude for this moment of connection and peace.
