Welcome to our Yoga Nidra Guided Sleep Meditation session, designed to help you experience deep relaxation and enjoy a restful night's sleep. Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a powerful practice that induces profound relaxation while maintaining awareness, making it an ideal technique for preparing the body and mind for deep rest. In this guided meditation, you'll be gently led through a series of instructions to release tension from your body, calm your mind, and enter a state of complete relaxation. Starting from your toes and moving upward, you'll progressively relax each part of your body, allowing stress and tension to melt away. Throughout the session, you'll focus on your breath, syncing it with your movements and guiding your mind into a state of tranquility. Visualizations and affirmations will further deepen your relaxation, helping you to let go of any worries or thoughts that may be keeping you awake.

This is a practice that you can come to or return to.

Start by finding a comfortable position around the sofa,

Keep your legs slightly apart and turn your palms up towards the sky and keep your arms slightly away from your body.

Take a moment here and make any final adjustments,

We will not disturb you as we go deeper and deeper.

Four states of consciousness,

One would usually go through during sleep.

We will start our journey in the conscious mind,

Then we will enter what is known as a super conscious mind in the twilight zone between awake and asleep.

In the state of conscious sleep,

Where we will be able to access our subconscious mind.

In the state of deep sleep,

Where we will be able to consciously access the unconscious mind.

Repeat this two more times,

Simply observing sounds outside your room,

Simply observe sounds within the room,

Observing the movements created in the fabric of your clothes,

The surface beneath you,

To our physical body,

The body parts that I mentioned and then a louder part,

The body part.

The sensation I am inviting you to feel is often described as a tingling warm sensation.

It is a sensation that you feel when you are in a deep sleep,

When you are awake,

When you are awake,

When you are awake,

When you are awake.

It is a sensation that you feel when you are awake,

When you are awake,

When you are awake.

This space for you.

Simply listen and follow my instruction.

For 27 belly rises,

Exhale 27 belly folds,

Inhale 26 belly rises,

Exhale 26 belly folds,

Exhale 25 belly folds,

Exhale 22 belly folds,

Exhale 18 belly folds,

Inhale 17 belly rises,

Exhale 17 belly folds,

Inhale 16 belly rises,

Exhale 16 belly folds,

Exhale 15 belly folds,

Exhale 14 belly folds,

Exhale 13 belly folds,

Inhale 12 belly rises,

This sensation brings you deeper and more aware of the space known as Siddhakasha,

Darkness beneath your closed eyes.

Gaze into the abyss,

See the infinite darkness,

Then see yourself standing in front with a key in your hand.

The key fits perfectly in the door,

You turn it three times and it opens.

The light inside is ambient,

You sit down in this peaceful and calm space.

Here in this safe space,

You release all emotions,

Allow your fears to surface,

Your fear,

Your sorrow.

The person inside this sacred place take your hand and you sit in silence observing the little flame.

A fire is awakened within you,

This fire is yours to keep.

You can stay here for as long as you wish and know that you can always return.

I hope that you walk forth from here in abundance and bliss and as always stay blessed by the breath.
