Welcome.
This meditation is for the moments when you're carrying something you can't share with anyone.
Maybe it's a situation,
A feeling,
A truth you're holding quietly inside.
And carrying it alone can feel heavy,
Isolating,
Even exhausting at times.
For the next few minutes you don't have to explain anything.
You don't have to tell the story.
You only need to be here.
Take a slow breath in and a longer breath out.
Let your shoulders drop slightly.
Let your body be supported by whatever is beneath you.
Feel your feet,
Your hands,
Your breathing.
You are here,
Breathing,
Holding or you're holding.
When something can't be shared the mind often carries it on repeat.
Thinking about it,
Managing it,
Containing it.
And without somewhere to place it,
It can begin to feel heavier than it already is.
But for this moment you don't have to carry it in the same way.
Imagine setting the weight down beside you just for a moment.
You're not getting rid of it.
You're not denying it.
Just setting it down.
Let your body feel what it's like not to grip it quite so tightly.
Take a slow breath in and out.
You are allowed to rest even while this exists in your life.
Place a hand on your chest if that feels natural.
Or simply imagine a steady calm presence with you.
You're not strange for carrying something quietly.
You're human.
Many people move through life holding things others cannot see.
And even when something cannot be shared,
It still deserves care.
Offer yourself that care now,
Through your breath,
Through this pause.
What you're carrying will not always feel exactly like this.
Situations shift,
Feelings change,
New perspectives arrive over time.
For now,
You don't need solutions.
You only need a moment of steadiness.
Let this breath be that steadiness.
Take one more slow breath in and a longer breath out.
Gently imagine picking up what you set down but not holding it as tightly.
And if what you're carrying ever feels too heavy to hold alone,
Reaching out to a trusted professional or therapist can be a deeply supportive step.
For now,
Just stay close to yourself,
One breath at a time.
