Hey,
Where is your mind right now?
If you're reviewing things from the past,
Like things you wish you hadn't done,
Or maybe things you regretted saying,
Let's talk about letting those things go.
All things that have happened in the past can't be changed,
And reviewing them in your mind will not actually be productive for your emotional well-being.
So take this moment we're in together right now to let it all go.
Allow the past to stay there.
Allow the decisions you made to also stay there,
Knowing that perhaps in the future you might make different choices,
And the way to get there is through personal reflection.
But reflection can be kind,
And it can be gentle.
Sometimes remembering painful memories can feel like a wound that you mentally reopen over and over again.
But I invite you to release any attachment you have to that thought.
You don't deserve to review that any longer,
And you've processed enough.
You can now begin to release attachment to it,
And be free of any further hard feelings around it.
Because growing doesn't mean repeatedly living the past.
You can make note without experiencing the pain.
I invite you to let it go,
And feel lighter,
And breathe deeper.
Knowing that the past cannot be changed,
And you can gently decide to approach the future with a fresh start.
