Welcome to Active Meditation A Course in Miracles,
Lesson 33 There is another way of looking at the world.
There is another way of looking at the world.
Open your eyes.
Glance casually at the world you perceive out there.
Say to yourself,
There is another way of looking at the world.
Do this now.
Now close your eyes.
Observe your inner thoughts with the same detachment.
Repeat in your mind,
There is another way of looking at the world.
Now,
Alternate between surveying your outer and inner perceptions.
As often as you find comfortable,
Rotate casually between looking around the external world and witnessing your inner thoughts and emotions.
Opening and then closing your eyes.
As you do this,
Slowly say,
There is another way of looking at the world.
I'll be silent.
There is another way of looking at the world.
Close your eyes.
A full five minutes should be devoted to the morning and evening applications.
In these practice periods,
The idea should be repeated as often as you can find comfortable,
Though unhurried applications are essential.
There is another way of looking at the world.
And as we return to time and space,
We acknowledge,
I am aware.
I am.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
